Sfinari village, in Kissamos, is situated 57 km south-west from the centre of Chania. The Sfinari’s settlement embraces the homonym cove. The village is built on the feet of Koytroyli’s mountain and is extended to the beach.

great holiday

We have discovered a great holiday in this villa and whole area. The villa is built and equipped with style and with touch of luxury. The pool is clear and warm enough for the children. Friendly approach by Vassilis ( the owner) and people in the village should be appreciated.
There is nice small pebble beach for anyone who looking for quiet and not crowded place with a must taverna to thalami by Sophia and Manolis you can spend a days in:-)
Another sandy beach with all activites is about 20 mins by car.

The best recommendation for family with children and for people looking for real relax.
We have spent two holidays there and will come back for sure...

Beautiful villa with good amenities and overall quality in a great location. Beautiful garden and very nice pool. Very relaxing and quiet area, ideal for families. The area is near to the beautiful beaches, but car needed.
The owner Vassilis is an extremely nice person who can help out with any issues and also give tips on which locations to go to.

Great vacation!

The vacation and the surroundings fitted perfectly to our expectations. We hope, that the beach close to the villas will be adapted for tourism soon. Thus, it would be possible to walk from the villas and it would not be necessary any more to take the car to the beach of Falassarna. The bathrooms of the villa are very small in comparison to all the other rooms. We always had to use them one by one. But apart from those 2 points, everything was great! The owners family even prepared a diner for us when we arrived late from the airport! Very kind people!!! Thank you very much!

Very relaxing stay in a traditional Cretan village

The key was in the door of the villa for our arrival, but the owner arrived within minutes to give us a very warm welcome and to show us round the villa. We were then presented with a traditional Greek meal of stuffed vegetables in a tomato sauce, with bread and a carafe of local wine. The villa is in a superb location, however there are very steep steps up to the villa and it might not suit everyone. The villa and gardens were absolutely superb. The pool was a great bonus but would not be suitable for young children unless closely supervised. Linen and cleaning services were provided twice a week. Sfinari itself is quite remote and entails a 25 minute journey to the nearest town (Kissamos) along a very winding road along some very steep mountain sides. The village itself has a couple of small tavernas who were extremely welcoming and friendly, however their menus are very limited. The local mini market had virtually no stock and therefore almost everything came from Kissamos. The location did not bother us as we had a beautiful view and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Our hired car allowed us to journey further afield whenever we wanted. The villa is on the whole very well equipped, but a couple of things that could benefit guests would be an information pack on things to do and see, a hair-dryer, candles and matches in case of power cuts and also some sharp knives for food preparation. We had a wonderful stay in Villa antonia and would wholeheartedly recommend it to those seeking a quiet relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
