Hi, my name is Sandra and I am a transplant from Florida who has come to fully appreciate the incredible beauty of this area of the country. I have been privileged to be a full-time homemaker for 17 years now and this is my first venture into a business that enables me to continue to take care of my family's needs.
Sandra purchased this house in 2012
Why Sandra chose Gig Harbor
If you stay at Foxview you will see a newspaper article about my father who was a fisherman in the panhandle of Florida. I have many fond memories of days out on the shrimp boat with him. This place sort of brings my two worlds together - it reminds me of my upbringing and many happy days in the Florida sun in the midst of this beautiful setting of this amazing little town of Gig Harbor with its fishing industry background. We actually live on the Tacoma side of the bridge, but come over almost daily with my kids' kayak team involvement. I never grow tired of the beautiful drive across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge or the many interesting sights along the waterfront. When we gave thought to purchasing a vacation rental to rent out and use ourselves, Gig Harbor was the first place we thought of and looked.
What makes this house unique
We liked this home because it is a pretty little home, but even more than that, with the many windows and large deck it actually becomes almost more like a frame you look through and see the incredible beauty of the water and evergreen trees before you.
