Located only less hours by plane, a country awaits where the sun shines 360 days a year and where you will experience peace and relaxation, exciting trips into history and the past, great sporting facilities or a combination of all the above. Our holiday apartment is located not far from Hurghada airport in the middle of the newly built residential area of Mubarak 5. People with allergies and rheumatic and arthritic complaints with find this area very beneficial. On our terrace you can relax every day with enjoying all the coulored and blooming garden area.

The holiday apartment is located in a quiet, residential area. From the large roof terrace you have a wonderful view to the west on a large Sahara desert mountain range. Here you can experience and enjoy sunsets without equal. A public beach (Entry currently 11 Egyptian pounds, roughly 1 Euro 50 per person) is located 15 minutes by foot away from the apartment. A sun lounger is included in the price and drinks and snacks are available at reasonable prices. There is a small supermarket located 30 meters from the property, which offers everything necessary for daily living. The newly built 6 mile long “village road” is 15 minutes walk away. There you can stroll, shop, drink a beer or even try a shisha in a coffee shop. There are also many different international restaurants on offer.

  • I will be happy to help you find flights. Collection from the airport is included in the price. A German/English/Arabic speaking assistant is provided, for example for advice when booking tours.
  • There is a deposit of 200 Euro required for the rental, which will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Water and electricity charges are not included in the rental price; they normally run to about 75 - 100 Egyptian Pounds, (approx. 10-13 Euro) per week.
  • You have the choice to clean by yourself or let us to do it for a fee of only 25 Euros after your stay

Notes: The lovingly furnished bright holiday apartment consists of a large living room with an open-plan kitchen, a bathroom and shower, toilet, wash basin together with 2 bedrooms each with two beds and a large wardrobe. In one bedroom there is a double bed, in the other two twin beds which can be pushed together or separated if necessary. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge-freezer and a 4 ring electric oven, a coffee machine and a kettle. Cutlery and crockery for six people are provided. Behind the house is a garden terrace, and a large roof terrace for sunbathers with showering facilities is also available. Smokers can also use the terrace for lighting up. Smoking is not desired in the apartment for protection of non-smokers.

Your possibilities: At anytime you can take one of the comfortable (approx. 10 Egyptian Pounds) and numerous taxis into the centre of Hurhada and back and get a feeling for the city and its inhabitants. Hurghada offers a multitude of opportunities to chat and converse. From lovely chats with the locals, to shopping trips and even romantic nights under the starry sky at the beach, or wild parties in one of the many discotheques. You will find folkloric exhibits as well as belly dancers and a spa run by a Swiss company. Worried that you will miss German style bread? No problem, large supermarkets offer biological produce from the local area. Fruit, vegetables and meat are all available at reasonable prices in the market.

Good holiday, the only critism I have of your flat is no cafes or restaurants close by. But thanks for all your assistance. You have a lovely flat.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. A lot of caffees and restaurants are located only by 15 minutute walk in the new village road, which is about 5 km long or more. It is not necessary to take taxi into the city of Hurghada.

Nice location. The owner of the apartment charged me ahead of time. We were not able to stay for the entire period of time due to personal work constraints. Instead of being reasonable (the property was booked close to 14 days prior to arrival with no blocked reservations for the whole month), I was charged a "penalty" of 50 Euros as we could not stay the entire time. The airconditioning in the apartment is not too good and the hot water for bathing should be checked properly before jumping in for a shower (we did not have functioning hot water for 2 days), there is no television. The property owner did nothing to make amends for these inconveniences. Watch out as everything has a penalty and price tag (any laundry facility, using the electricity for the time of your stay)! Even cleaning the apartment after leaving has a price tag of 25 Euros! I was disappointed with all the "extra penalties" and prices for things which would be normal inclusion in rental agreements. I enjoyed my stay as I had good company and peace and quiet due to the good location (very secluded) - which is what I was looking for.
Owner's Response: I want to comment Meg's review:
Every tenent has to sign a rental contract befor coming. In this contract is written in §3 rental price and payment methods and §4 cancellation and early termination rules: Termination
o Up to 49 days before rental period 10 % of rental price
o Up to 35 days before rental period 30 % of rental price
o Up to 21 days before rental period 60 % of rental price
o Up to 14 days before rental period 90 % of rental price
o otherwise (later as 14 days before rental period) 100 % of rental price. Meg accepted this contract weeks before coming. Instead of charging her the whole amount (more than 150 Euros) I took only 50 Euros.
I informed Meg about all prices for the flat. To keep down the lease price, to animate the tenants to economize the amount of water and electricity (Hurghada is located in desert) we settle the costs for water and electricity according to usage (dues can be seen in advertisment). The one time fee for final cleaning is usual in Germany and written in the rental contract and advertisment.
Meg had no warm water in the flat for about 1,5 days. Our offer for having a shower in our flat upstairs she refused. We fixed the defect as soon as possible, even in Europe craftsmen are not be on the spot immediately. Often we asked Meg if everything is fine, she didn't criticize anything.
There is a television and big satellite (Astra) in our flat since that time. You can be sure that we will do our best that your holiday become a great experience. But don't forget, you cannot compare Egypt with Europe or the States- that's the reason you travel to, isn't it?! Sonja

wunderschöne Wohnung

Bisher war ich 5 mal privat in Hurghada und diese Wohnung war mit Abstand die Beste. Sie ist geräumig, hat einen wunderschönen Garten, den man mitnutzen kann, Bad und Küche sind sehr sauber und, untypisch für Ägypten, funktioniert auch alles einwandfrei. Deutsches Fernsehen, mehr Kanäle als ich zu Hause habe, für den, der auf seine Sportshau oder soaps nicht verzichten kann. Viel Stauraum in übersichtlich gestalteten Schränken.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, der hervorragend deutsch und englisch spricht, klappt über e-mail und mobile hervorragend. Selbst Butcher, der Hund, versteht fließend deutsch und englisch.

Wunderschön

Ich war zum ersten mal mit meiner Familie in Ägypten und daher auch sehr ängstlich,aber wie sich später rausstellte,wirklich unbegründet.. Die Menschen sind dort sehr nett,zwar ziehen dich die Männer mit den Blicken aus,aber ansonsten alle sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.
Die Wohnung war wunderschön und mit Butcher fühlt man sich noch sicherer.. Ein toller Hund.
Meine Tochter war genauso begeistert,wie ich und auch wenn sie zwei tage krank wurde,hat sie den Urlaub sehr genossen und wollte Hossam direkt mit nach Hause nehmen.
Ein großes Dankeschön,dass dich Hossam.. Durch dich wurde der Aufenthalt zu einem großen Spaß..
Also ich kann nichts bemängeln,es war alles großartig und gerade weil es das ganze gegenteil von Deutschland ist,wirklich zum genießen.
Ich freu mich auf ein Wiedersehen..

Schöne, gemütliche und komplett ausgestattete FeWo. Lage i.O. Absolut knuffiger, liebenswürdiger Vermieter, der gerne und umfassend hilft, wenn man in der ägyptischen Kultur (wie wir) seine Premiere hat. Wer also keine Lust auf ein "künstliches Hotelghetto" hat, ist hier genau richtig, um Eindrücke ausserhalb der Touristenszene zu gewinnen.

Mit 2 blonden Töchtern war es in dieser Kultur zwar nicht immer sooooo einfach, dennoch haben wir unsere 2 Wochen genossen und würden es wieder tun.

Auto haben wir überhaupt nicht gebraucht oder vermisst, man kann alles günstig und bequem mit dem Taxi oder zu Fuss erledigen.
