There is a loft with a queen bed and a single bed upstairs ,and the master bedroom also has a queen bed with a closet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances ice in door ,coffee and day to day things you need. There is also a custom made cedar bar with deep clear coat finish on top with 4 bar stools, also there is a small dining table seats four .The den has one sofa with recliners on each end and one pull out sofa. When you arrive you will not be disappointed you will be very exited to have found such a wonderful place to vacation! The farm is fenced with a very large barn,so bring your horse.Starting in Oct 2013 the cabin will offer hunting rights ,but only 4 or 5 weeks will be offered don't wait long call soon 256 8107610 . Greatest get away!!!

  • 5 of 5

when I first pulled up I saw big Tom turkey walking across the back yard . After I unpacked I looked out the front windows saw five deer crossing field . This is a good place to bring your kids to let them see nature in real time not video you just have to be still and quite for a little bit and look and it's no telling what wild life you might see. If you want to cool off there is nice pool in back . If you like walking there are trails to walk .it so peaceful you don't hear trucks ,cars any city noise just nature . And I loved it didn't want to leave.

Exceeded expectations!

I ran across this listing when looking for a destination that my son and I could use as a father - son get away prior to him graduating. We enjoy hunting, hiking, nature, etc and this was perfect. Great turkey hunting in the mornings. Beautiful place just to hike and explore. So relaxing just to sit on the front porch and enjoy the view. Greg is so friendly and accomodating that I hope to bring the rest of the family back at some point. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing cabin type of vacation that is private and yet not too far off the beaten bath.

What a great cabin and property! And, what a great host. Greg was available when I needed to ask a question and was just a nice guy. The property was clean, well maintained, yet far enough away from town to give a feeling of a real get a way. This is a perfect place for a couple or a few friends. We highly recommend it!!

A magnificent vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was the most awesome vacation ever. The cabin is a humble house on beautiful land and with a relaxing private pool. What made this vacation go from ordinary to extraordinary is the love and care Greg takes in not only taking care of the land but taking care of his guests. I not only recommend this property but in general working with Greg was great. It's reassuring to know that people like him still exist; a what can I do for you mentality. We look forward to visiting again.

Enjoyed every minute of it

I can not say enough about this little piece of heaven! When we arrived to our surprise almost everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the pool and deck tremendously. The grill was a plus,we cooked on it everynight and Greg made sure we had plenty of gas for it! We meet with Greg several days during our stay and he suggested a few locations nearby that we should check out. We visited the Horton Cemetery which was so ,it was an old civil war cemetery. The wildlife viewing was incredible! We will definitely be visiting again! Thanks Greg for sharing with us!

little piece of heaven on earth

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at the cabin not really knowing what to expect after going to NC and other places. We were not in the least bit disappointed. This was the most beautiful place. Quiet and secluded is an understatement. The cabin, pool and surroundings are so beautiful. We watched deer and turkey from front porch and from back deck. Hunted for arrow heads in streams and creeks on property. Rode four wheeler to the Horton cemetery where there is a beautiful angel watching over area. In close distance to wall of stones done by Mr Tom Hendrix, which is something to see. People in town very friendly, if you leave cabin. In our 7 days we left cabin only 3 times. If in need of a great get away to relax and unwind, this is the place. Greg was very helpful and such a nice person. Did not want to leave but will most definitely be back.
