BEAUTIFUL 4 BEDROOM HOME DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH!

Sayulita House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

This romantic, classically styled Mexican villa offers a casual elegance not often found in today's world. View pelicans, frigates, dolphins, whales, iguanas, butterflies, and other wildlife while sipping cold drinks from the privacy of the patio. Amenities of Casa Pacifica include 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms with hotel quality beds -- two upstairs (one king, one queen) and two down (both kings) -- each has its own private bathroom, air conditioning and no adjoining walls to any other bedroom. The two bedrooms upstairs have their own private ocean front balcony with an attractive lounge area. New renovations and furnishings including designer linens; a Weber Gas Grill on the patio; a high end gourmet kitchen complete with Wolf Range, Subzero refrigerator, new Spanish Colonial tile counter tops, and quality cookware and cutlery; all ensure that your stay will be comfortable and luxurious.

Your days can be filled with activities -- from swimming to sightseeing to taking yoga -- or you can just lounge by the plunge pool or on the white sand beach and wait for the sun to drop into the beautiful, blue Pacific. Whales migrate between October and February. See them from the terrace or get close-up on a boat in the Bay of Banderas. As a nature lover you can enjoy tropical birds flying by or go on a bird watching tour. Observe iguanas, geckos, tajones or tour the turtle nursery and help release the baby turtles into the ocean. Ocean kayaking, a zip-line adventure, snorkeling and hiking in the palm jungle are the best ways to enjoy the tropical environment. The sunsets are breathtaking! Casa Pacifica is tropical Mexico as you dreamed it would be.

San Pancho is a wonderful, quaint, and very friendly little village on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, just 25 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, and 10 miles north of Punta de Mita (the home of both Four Seasons and St. Regis Resorts and all of the amenities that go along with 5 star properties such as these). San Pancho, formally known as San Francisco has one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. Casa Pacifica is on the nicest stretch of this mile long beach, just a short walk from the center of this lovely little Pacific coastal jewel, where the rich culture of the indigenous people magically blends with the newer customs of their North American and European neighbors. Here you will find everything from an Italian Bakery, to a Brazilian restaurant, from a choice of grocery stores to a myriad of quaint shops that line the cobblestone streets.

There are excellent restaurants in town with varied international menus, really good local Mexican dishes, great margaritas, and plenty of fresh seafood, and Casa Pacifica is only a block from the best restaurant, Mar Plata. Other evening activities include live entertainment, Saturday night polo matches and endless forms of art and culture. Dolphins and Whales are common to the area and they will captivate your heart as they magically entertain you with their delightful dancing show; especially during the months of October through February. San Pancho also has a yoga and wellness center, named El-Estar, meaning 'Being'. The multiple relaxation and healing treatments provided by these incredible therapists can enhance your long or short stay as well as heal your aches and pains. New in 2011, San Pancho also has its own golf course. Las Huertas Golf Club is a nine hole course that can be played as 18 and is located about one quarter mile from Casa Pacifica.

About Ron Baker

We have always had a sense of adventure and we were lured to Casa Pacifica by the sea. In the mid 90's we decided to begin looking for the perfect seaside location.

Our travels took us around the world a couple of times but in the end we found our paradise within three hours of home. Situated at the perfect spot on the perfect beach, Casa Pacifica, with easy access to all attractions and with awesome views has proved extremely popular with guests who return year after year. We would love to share our little bit of paradise with you and introduce you to 'Mexico's Little Secret' - the hidden gem of the Mexican Riviera!

Ron Baker purchased this house in 2007

Why Ron Baker chose Sayulita

When we visited San Pancho for the first time in 2007, it was love at first sight! Our plan had been to spend a month traveling up the coast from Manzanillo to Mazatlan looking for a place to build our retirement home. We had a long list of requirements; friendly people, a spectacular ocean view, and a town with a relaxing vibe that still had restaurants and other attractions. It turned out that San Pancho was our first and last stop. We rented Casa Pacifica for a week before starting our Journey. We fell in love with it immediately and bye buy travel plans. We knew that we'd never find anything we liked better, no matter where we looked.

What makes this house unique

San Pancho is truly paradise and Casa Pacifica sits just off the water's edge on a beautiful expanse of soft sandy beach. Days and nights provide continual tropical breezes and the tranquil sounds of the sea. The villa's design brings magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean from virtually every vantage point in the villa. You can gaze at the sailboats and fisherman as they pass the villa, or maybe catch sight of the whales and dolphins as they swim past. And then there is an awe-inspiring sunset followed by the captivating and magical lights of the neighboring villages set against the star-filled night sky. You will find Casa Pacifica to be a tranquil and elegant stay for your holiday.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were so sorry we could only stay a week. Your home and it's location are paradise! Next year our group will come for two weeks, please book us arriving February 13th, departing the 25th and let me know when the deposit is due.

Thanks again,

Sandra

Beautiful Casa Pacifica

  • 5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, peaceful house in San Pancho, Nayarit, Mexico. There are 4 lovely, mostly equal Master Bedrooms with private bathrooms (one has a Queen Bed, but it has a great view), and all are private. The kitchen has a lovely gas range, which is great, because we cook, large refrigerator, dishwasher and even a garbage disposal!

The real beauty is the location and outdoor spaces. We used the palapa table constantly, and the plunge pool was perfect. There are nice lounge chairs for sunning, and we bought a nice hammock to use on the hooks provided. The house comes with lots of nice beach towels and linens.

If you have never been to San Pancho, you are in for a treat. It has just enough art stores and restaurants, everything is walkable, if you like to walk, and we do! The sand is perfect, the beach gorgeous, the bird lagoon is very interesting, and there are great jungle hikes very close by. The waves were pretty high during our stay, great for boarding and watching the surfers.

Jose Luis, the house manager, is great, really available and helpful. He is maybe the best house manager we have encountered in all of our VRBO stays! There are only a couple of things to know before you go: there is little to no cellular in the house, you may need to walk down the beach for reception, so give the house number if someone needs to reach you. There is wi-fi, but no TV, which you probably wouldn't really use, anyway! There are lots of books available if you finish yours, but you may want a deck of cards. Buy a boogie board or two in town, or at the Mega. Market Day is Tuesday, and Salsa Night is Monday in Sayulita.

Enjoy! But don't tell everyone about San Pancho! It's perfect the way it is!

Perfect Vacation, exceeds expectations!

  • 5 of 5
Casa Pacifica indeed exceeds expectation. The unique character and perfect location of this house is understated. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From the well equipped kitchen, beautiful open living design which enhanced the beach location. Each bedroom has its own decor, gorgeous bathrooms. We loved the pool and patio, the staircase is lighted and also under the palapa, to produce a romantic effect.
Local restaurants are amazing, we were impressed with Ola Rica & Marias, Emilios a close third.
Shopping for ingredients was an adventure, the shrimp and chicken we found were excellent, and they have a farmers market Thursday evening.
Kudos to the house maids, our house was super clean, one little tip if you need linens changed every three days instead of once a week, let them know ahead of time, we were more than willing to tip for that.
Thank you Ron, we really liked your immediate communication with us, made things super smooth, and our vacation was almost without glitches. We would choose to vacation at Casa Pacifica #1 choice for 2014. Absolutely yes!

Fantastic home in stunning location

  • 5 of 5
We just returned from our best trip in a long while! This house is fantastic. The location is great in that it is out of town (15 min walk/5 min drive) so that it is super quiet and peaceful. We would take our daily walk into town via the beach which is stunning. Rooms were great. So nice to have a bathroom with each room for ease. Kitchen is perfect, outdoor dining is fantastic. The only downside is the freezing cold pool. But there is a nearby resort with a warmer pool and pool bar for swimmers. Would return again in a second.

Another Amazing Experience at Casa Pacifica

  • 5 of 5
Our group of friends stayed at Casa Pacifica in 2009 for one week. At the end of our stay, we couldn't wait to return. We've talked with so many people about this being one of our most memorable vacations EVER! We finally returned in October and stayed two weeks--still not long enough. First of all, the villa was fully remodeled recently and the changes were lovely. The home was great the first time--even better this time. One of the best things about this property are the private guest rooms--no bedroom wall touches another room and each has it's own bathroom. Another is that is this villa is right on the beach. You walk into the entry, through the house, into a lovely courtyard (where we spent hours reading, playing cribbage, and relaxing), past the dipping pool, onto the sand, and into the water. Spectacular place to watch amazing sunsets!

My husband and I generally walk into town in the morning--hang out and enjoy the restaurants, the people, the town's charm. We often walk back to town again in the evening. During one sunset stroll on the beach, we came upon people releasing hundreds of sea turtles into the ocean. Passersby were encouraged to pick one up, name it, then watch it scuttle toward the ocean. A powerful experience. We later learned San Pancho Turtles-a non-profit organization--rescues eggs after they are laid, puts them in incubators until they hatch, then release these amazing tiny creatures every evening during the hatching season (July-Dec). On our final night, I watched a mama lay 115 eggs in the sand, cover the nest, disguise it, and head back into the sea. I could write forever about this, but it's better if you experience it yourself.

Other highlights: we ate at so many good restaurants in town, drank many good adult beverages (my favorite was the mango daiquiri's at La Ola Rica's main restaurant and their 2nd one that just opened on the beach). We had the best shrimp tacos I've ever eaten at Baja Takeria. My husband fell in love with their food--we went back four times! Since we extended our stay to two weeks, we took day trips to San Blas, Bucerias (loved), and Sayulita (loved San Pancho more!) We felt completely safe at Casa Pacifica and traveling throughout this area of Mexico. Of course, I hate to share how comfortable I felt because the next time I want to rent this villa, it might be full. Yet this town depends on tourists. I hope you go. Go. Fall in love with this villa and this town.

They encouraged every passerby to pick up a baby, name him, then watch him scuttle to the ocean. A powerful experience. We thought it was a one time thing. Yet later we learned San Pancho Turtles-a non-profit organization--rescues eggs after they are laid, puts them in incubators until they hatch, then release these amazing tiny creatures every evening during the hatching season. Our stay at Casa Pacifica

  • 4 of 5
Casa Pacifica is a beautiful home in an exceptional location. It is on a stunning stretch of beach. All the amenities were there. The mornings are glorious with the birds in the coconut palms. Not to be missed is massage from Abigail. She is gifted and will send you into the most relaxed state in the comfort of your own casa. Truly a treat.
