Akumal is the jewel of the Riviera Maya and South Akumal is as good as it gets. Casa Texoma is located on on the southern end of the beautiful, quiet, semi-private beach of South Akumal.
We had an amazing week with friends at Alma De Texoma! The home was impeccable! 4 wonderful bedrooms- 3 with ocean view and terraces, 1 with a garden view. The 2 levels with separate living areas and kitchens made it feel even more spacious. We loved waking in the morning to the sound of the ocean and walking the beautiful stretch of beach outside the home. We had 4 adult couples sharing the home and had plenty of space. We snorkeled right in front of the home everyday and saw many colorful and interesting fish! The kayaks were also wonderful!! We did have 1 car to share between 8 of us, which made trips to the grocery store easy, but you could also easily stay here without a car if you do one large stop on your way to the house. We walked into Akumal on the beach almost everyday (about 20-30 min walk).... and really enjoyed eating at Turtle Bay Cafe! Don't forget to check out Yal-Ku lagoon in Akumal- another amazing snorkel spot!
Can't wait to come back again!!
