About Roger Bilheimer
We consider Hannah's Hideaway our incredible home away from home! We have lovingly restored the house and now its ready for you and your friends and family to enjoy it! We live in Connecticut but our daughter and son-in-law live in Chapel Hill and enjoy a lot of time at the house. We just spent two weeks over the fourth with our whole family and it was magical. We had seven people and were very comfortable.
Roger Bilheimer purchased this house in 2012
Why Roger Bilheimer chose Topsail Beach
I have roots in North Carolina and went to UNC Chapel Hill- I recalled going to Topsail during college so we researched it and decided to check it out. Wow, did we love it. When we hunted for houses we knew we wanted a canal property, but also close to the beach. Roger grew up in Switzerland and this house reminded us of a Swiss Chalet - wonderful cathedral ceiling with beams and the upstairs hallway loft overlooking the main living area charmed us! If you add that to the canal access and proximity to the beach we couldn't resist!
What makes this house unique
We fell in love with the house for a million reasons! The views, the canal, the dock, the beach, the feeling of a swiss chalet inside with the loft overlooking the living room. The swinging chair and seating area below the deck offer amazing lazy afternoons outside of the sun. Every day we walk to the end of the street and enjoy sunsets that offer every color of the rainbow. When you step into Hannah's Hideaway you will truly feel like you're away in your own wonderful, private world. It's a little slice of heaven.
