Villa Amanie has been designed for luxury and comfort. Once our driver has whisked you away from the airport, from the moment you arrive at Villa Amanie, you will experience the finest Balinese hospitality from our staff who provide driving, cooking and housekeeping services. Stepping into the villa, you will be struck by the fabulous view over the private infinity pool to the ocean. Sun beds and a comfortable Bale, with its inviting cushioned interior, await outside. Downstairs there is a fitted kitchen, an elegant dining hall and large lounge, plus two bedrooms. The two master suites upstairs are each equipped with a jacuzzi bath. All bedrooms are sumptuously appointed with top quality linens, rainforest showers and baths. There is a sofa bed in the upstairs TV lounge and a travel cot is available for our younger guests. The villa has 2 TVs, WiFi, a library of DVDs, CDs, books, games, a small gym and a Foosball table. Portable massage beds are available. A welcome dinner is included on your first night, as is a daily fruit breakfast. Air conditioning and fans throughout will keep you cool.

Please Note: Villa Amanie is part of a small, exclusive development and was completed in 2010. If you have a large party we and our neighbouring villas may be able to accommodate you. Please ask for details. Please also enquire about our competitive rates for stays of longer than one month.

Testimonial: A fabulous place to get together for any family occasion, or just with a group of friends. The house was gorgeous – great furnishings, heaps of space, huge kitchen and living space, and the staff were fantastic. The pool and deck were delightful and well used, with the gazebo to the side to rest and relax in. The housekeepers were just wonderful – we had a family party and they prepared everything – a five star meal to die for! Every morning the staff cooked a local breakfast for the group, which went down a treat, but if you wanted ‘traditional English breakfast’ that too was available. The bedrooms were spacious, well decorated, and each had an en-suite to suit a king, and the staff were seldom seen, but rooms were always serviced beautifully each day! There were nine of us from our extended family, and everyone loved the ambience and atmosphere...the Balinese openness, with great style. Villa Amanie is situated on top of 'The Bukit' at the southern end of Bali, with views across the New Kuta golf course and out to the Bali Sea. Golf: The New Kuta Golf course is set on limestone cliffs, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. It is regarded as one of Bali's great 18-hole golf courses and hosted the Indonesian Open in 2009.

  • Payment in US Dollars. Bank transfers only accepted. Any bank transfer charges to be borne by the renter.

    50% of the rental fee is to be paid at time of booking, plus a US$500 security deposit, which is refundable within 7 days after check out, should no damages be incurred.

    The balance of the rental fee is to be paid 30 days before arrival date. Balances not received within this time frame will be regarded as a cancellation.

    For bookings made within 30 days of the arrival date, payment in full is required at time of booking.

    The booking is not guaranteed until the funds have been received.

    Cancellations up to 61 days prior to arrival date are subject to a full refund. Cancellations from 60 days onwards prior to arrival date will forfeit the rental deposit paid.

Notes: The infinity pool and stairs are not guarded and therefore the property is unsuitable for families with very young children. Access to the villa is via stairs over a pond and therefore wheelchair access is difficult. The staff have a friendly dog on site.

Fantastic villa

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Amanie over Christmas and New Year. The villa itself is spacious, immaculately kept, with beautiful and tasteful furnishings. The two master suites upstairs are huge, with great bathrooms and showers, one of the rooms has a balcony. The other two bedrooms are also lovely, one looking out onto the pool, the other at the back.

The pool is gorgeous, and the bale is really comfy to lounge around in. There isn't much room around the pool, but that wasn't a problem as we just lay around on the loungers!

The staff, Sri and Ngurah, were great, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We had our 10 month old baby with us, and Sri was lovely with her, looking after her while we had our meals. The food was good, all Indonesian, and enough choice to last a week or so. We had a gourmet feast for Christmas dinner, including a whole baked fish, which was excellent. The owner Ray was also very helpful with all the arrangements.

The villa is situated off a track, alongside some other similar villas. As noted on the website, a couple of the villas are not completed, including one below villa Amanie, but there was no disturbance from them (although work was actually not going on at the villa below us during our stay). The villa is above a road which occasionally got a bit noisy with mopeds, but that must be the case all over Bali! Our family is quite sensitive to noise disturbance, but we can reassure that it was not an issue.

All in all, we would definitely recommend staying at this villa.

Just one week away in paradise...

Excellent Villa, had everything we needed to "Fall apart in our own back yard!" Golf only a stone throw away, beaches close too, Kuta down the road and Bacon Butties on request every morning!
The rooms are amazingly spacious and full of all mod cons, the DVD collection was a blast from the past, golden oldies night twice in the week when we were all too tired to go out.
We had two infants, one 6 months old and the other 2 and a half and they were fine, in fact my 2 and a half year old spent most of his time in the pool with the 6 month joining him every now and again, all fully supervised of course!
We all agreed we would be back again next year, we left a few bottles of beer though I am sure they will be gone before we get back! :-)
The Villa was really well equipped and maintained, cleaning of the rooms, laundry etc. made our stay even more pleasant, thanks to Driver Ngurah and his wife Sri who really had her hands full cooking for us but coped admirably!
Thanks again, we will be back!

Our long weekend away was an adults only affair and the villa suited us perfectly. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and fitted..and yes ladies lots of wardrobe space! Of course the rest of the villa was just as you would expect with the Infinity pool and amazing sunsets creating the perfect photo opportunity.What a treat to have a housekeeper and a driver. Played golf at the local New Kuta course which is a good course with a very welcoming management.
I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did.

We recently had a fabulous holiday in this beautiful new villa. Rentals often don't live up to the advertising photos and blurb, but even though we are spoiled expats, the reality exceeded all expectations in this case. The villa is light and bright, and absolutely spotless, with comfortable furniture and lovely Balinese artwork and handicrafts cleverly dotted around. As soon as you walk through the front door, you are met with the most amazing airy view over the private infinity pool towards the sea and the western horizon. Sundowners watching the sunsets were memorable.
Ngurah and Sree, the Balinese couple running the villa could not have been more charming or helpful, whether at home or driving us out and about. Ngurah took us to a delicious seafood dinner on Jimbaran Beach (Lei Lei Restaurant), and to other lovely restaurants within 10 or 15 minutes' drive (eg. La Joya and Pep e Nero). The pleasant La Mocha Cafe is less than 5 minutes from the villa, near the well-stocked supermarket. It was not far to the New Kuta Club for golf, and we also went on a shopping expedition to Seminyak/Legian. Our main problem was that it was so nice relaxing by the pool or in the romantic bale at the villa, that it was hard to muster the energy to go anywhere! In spite of the inevitable noise of ongoing building in the background at times, it was one of the most peaceful and rejuvenating holidays we have had in a long time. Highly recommended!

Villa Amanie is heaven!

Villa Amanie is heaven! Its so beautiful and tranquil you will never want to leave.

Perched on a hill side, the views are spectacular. One of the best things to do is floating in the infinity pool whilst watching the sun set into the ocean or sipping cocktails from the bale, the raised, wooden seating area covered in pillows, surrounded by peacefully blowing drapes.

Waking up was a pleasure, having slept amazingly due to the comfortable beds and the utter peace and quite that you will find at Villa Amanie. Then being handed a glass of freshly squeezed juice and spending the day relaxing in the beautifully designed villa or sunbathing and swimming in the private infinity pool, all secluded away, hidden by the shape of the villa.

I would definitely recommend having a massage whilst in Bali. The best way to do it is through Bliss who will send a masseuse up to the villa, so you can relax in your own clean and peaceful setting and fall asleep in your own bed instead of having to get up after 90 minutes of amazing massage.

If you do choose to venture out from the villa, I would recommend heading to Balangan Beach. A short drive down the road, its the most secluded and peaceful, white sand beach with clear water. There is a little beach bar there as well. Make sure you visit the Rock bar at Ayana Resort, where you have to take a mini monorail type lift down to a beautifully designed bar, perched on the rocks where you can enjoy a cocktail whilst watching the sun set.

Bali really is truly beautiful and Villa Amanie is a great place to go and experience the island from and a safe haven to relax and refresh yourself.
