Lincoln City House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
This lovely two bedroom, two bathroom vacation home is located right in the heart of Lincoln City. Stroll past the lovingly-landscaped yard, up three front steps, and you'll be all set to enjoy beachcombing, kite flying, and just plain relaxing by the shore. Perfect for families, or couples and friends traveling with or without kids, this getaway boasts a great location just two blocks from the beach and a comfortable, easygoing decor.
Walking into the home, you'll be greeted with an open living and dining room space. There's a comfortable couch (also a sleeper sofa!) for settling down at the end of the day, as well as a flat screen TV with cable. The dining table has seating for six, with extra seating for four more at the nearby breakfast bar. After dinner, clear away the dishes, send the kids outside to play, and the adults finish off the bottle of wine and enjoy a friendly game of poker. There's also board games like Monopoly for the whole group to enjoy.
The bright full kitchen is completely stocked with everything needed to make pancakes in the morning and roasted salmon and vegetables at night. Kitchen gadgets available for your use include the basics like pans, utensils, and the like, but also extra appliances like a slow cooker, coffee grinder, and a blender. Savor all-day stews, freshly ground coffee, and treat yourself to smoothies or margaritas during your stay...or maybe a few of both! It's your vacation though, and there's nothing that says you have to cook at all. Lincoln City is jam-packed with restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries for every taste. Satisfy the group some take-out pies from Humble Pie Pizzeria or plan a nice dinner out on the town for seasonally-inspired seafood dishes at the Blackfish Cafe.
A sliding glass door off the kitchen leads out past the colorful, blooming fuchsias to a lush, grassy backyard. Follow walkways around ferns, potted plants, and quiet, hidden areas. A gas grill is provided for extra meal inspiration -- end a great day on the beach with a old fashioned cook-out in the back yard.
Returning inside, the master bedroom and bathroom are also on this first level, featuring a king sized bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, and a cozy, peaceful interior. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo and there is also a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer for your use as well.
Upstairs, a family room provides a space and seating for everyone to gather and watch DVDs, head out onto the balcony to relax and survey the quiet neighborhood, or just socialize as a group. The couch in this room is also a sleeper sofa, but during the day, just a nice spot to sit and read a good book or use the WiFi to check email. The second full bathroom is also close by.
The other bedroom is on this level and also has a king-sized bed. For families, or couples traveling together with kids, the bedrooms work great for the adults, with the sleeper sofas available for the younger ones. This house can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, with a maximum of four adults. For a $10 per pet, per day fee ($40 minimum per stay), you can also bring along your furry family members, as this house welcomes dogs.
Besides being close to restaurants and shops, at this retreat you are just two blocks away from beach access and miles and miles of sandy shore. Pack a picnic lunch and head down the long stairway to the water for an afternoon of digging your toes into the warm sand, pelican watching, playing Frisbee, or just rolling your pantlegs up and walking along the surf. Right nearby there are tide pools and rocks brimming with sea life to observe, so make sure to bring your camera. For those not wanting to make the walk, about six blocks from the house there's beach access that you can drive right to -- when was the last time you drove your car on the beach?
In the event of rain, spend the day at the outlet mall, browsing art galleries, watching a movie at Bijou Theatre, trying your luck at the casino, or just hanging out at the house watching DVDs and snacking on popcorn. For the creative types in your group, Lincoln City is home to a number of glass blowing studios, many offering classes and the Culinary Center offers cooking classes and demos on everything from hands-on crepe making to wine tasting. And at just a little more than one mile away, Devil's Lake is a convenient choice for freshwater fishing, canoeing, wind surfing, and other lake water sports.
Seas the Moment at this comfortable vacation home in Lincoln City! No matter if you spend your time birdwatching on the shore or playing some blackjack at Chinook Winds Casino, your time on the Oregon Coast will be unbeatable.
