About Brian Heade

Brian was born in Cardiff, Wales and Val in Hampton Court, Surrey. We have been living outside of the UK since 1980, and retired to Cyprus in 2008.

Brian Heade purchased this villa in 2000

Why Brian Heade chose Tsada

We built our main home in 1994, and later had the opportunity to purchase the plot in front of ours. So, we were able to build the holiday home in 2000, two levels below us, which enabled us to save our magnificent views.

What makes this villa unique

The benefit of the home, is that, Brian and Val live above the property for any local advice and problem resolutions. However, we do try to have minimal impact on the guests, and carry out the gardening and pool cleaning facilities when guests are not in residence

Another return !

  • 5 of 5
Another year, another restful stay at Brian and Val’s lovely mini villa and pool. This year we found ourselves in Tsada a month later than usual (we arrived in the last week in August) and the slightly more moderate climate we experienced may suit some better heat of the summer. The pool was still warm, and we took full advantage of it – it is so good to have such a good size pool to yourselves. As ever, we enjoyed a mix of our own cooking with much fresh food bought locally, and the extremely good menus of local restaurants. The ‘Fountains’, a short walk from Brian and Val’s, offers excellent value and really friendly service. A lovely spot for a break, we think, as our regular returns to Brian and Val testify.

Owner's Response: Stephen and Pat have returned every year since their first visit in 2008, they treat it as a 'time-share', but without all the unnecessary expense associated with timeshares.

Stephen is a music professor and finds the solitude ideal for writing his works. They certainly make the most of their stay by only rarely venturing out to the supermarkets and the odd foray to some very special tavernas.

A perfect holiday

  • 5 of 5
We spent a truly wonderful two weeks here, and it really was the perfect holiday! Brian and Val are friendly, considerate, helpful and in no way intrusive. They are always on hand to provide ideas and suggestions for you to make the most of your holiday and they care that you enjoy your time in Cyprus.

There are many many leaflets and guide books in the villa so you wont be stuck for ideas. However, given how delightful the pool and gardens are it is very easy to simply stay put, enjoy the sunshine on the most comfortable sun beds I've ever seen, cooling off in the pool which is great size enabling you to actually swim.

The villa is a nice size, and is very well equipped. It is perfectly possible to stay in and cook a meal or make use of the bbq if you don't feel like going out. Although there are plenty of good restaurants around, and Paphos is only a short drive away.

The photos shown are accurate and the villa really is as lovely as it looks here. Writing this makes me wish I were back there now! We certainly hope to return one day.

Owner's Response: Gillian and Jon were new guests and Val and I are so pleased that they enjoyed their stay. They have their hearts set on doing some more adventurous travelling, but we are sure that they will return some time in the future.

The perfect place to stay near Paphos

  • 5 of 5
This was our first visit to Cyprus, and Peter and I really enjoyed our stay.
The villa was very comfortable indeed, in a convenient location, and very well equipped - as a keen cook I found everything necessary to produce full meals. The pool was lovely.
Brian and Val were extremely welcoming and helpful, from the starter pack (including wine) in the fridge to advice on restaurants and on routes to explore the island. We even made it to Nicosia, which we found really interesting.
Definitely a five star experience.

Owner's Response: We met Ann and Peter earlier this year on a cruise in Halong Bay, Vietnam, and after many discussions they expressed their interest in holidaying in Cyprus. Since they are itinerant travellers, Val and I set up a schedule for them that saw them cover 1,000 Km in the space of their week stay! We are so pleased that they enjoyed their stay in Cyprus, and I'm sure that we will meet again some time in the future.

Cannot recommend more highly

  • 5 of 5
Adam and I found this Villa through homeaway.co.uk and were looking forward to some R&R away from the hustle and bustle. We could not have been more pleased or enchanted by the villa, location and Cyprus as well. The Villa is a perfect distance from Pafos and a slightly longer - but beautiful, drive across to the North of the island. The villa itself is perfect for outside eating enjoying the views across the vally and down into Pafos and great to relax by the pool. Brian and Val were the perfect hosts, welcoming us as long lost friends and we hope to come back to visit again in the not too distant future - we have already passed on the details to both sets of parents who are definitely interested! A car is a necessity, but this lends itself for easy island exploring - Brian and Val are on hand to recommend places to visit and worthwhile trips etc. I would recommend both the trip up through the mountains to the Kykkos Monastry and hiring a boat from Latsi to visit the Blue Lagoon. What an amazing trip, we most definitely will be returning when we can!

Owner's Response: Once again it was a pleasure for Val and I to welcome guests in their late 20's. Tamsin and Adam had so much fun, and probably saw more of the island in 7 days than most other guests would achieve in 14 days - oh to be so young and energetic again!

We are pleased that they enjoyed their stay, and would welcome them back in the future, if they can fit it in between their wedding in February and their emigration to Australia later next year.

Peaceful and Tranquil Setting - Perfect

  • 5 of 5
What a beautiful villa in perfect surroundings , this feels more like a home than a rental because Brian and Val take care to make sure of this. The peaceful setting and noise free environment makes this a perfect getaway. The Villa had all the essentials and more , it was very clean and tidy . The pool is excellent , a great size where you can actually swim .The recommendations for the restaurants was very helpful and I think we tried most of them. A car is necessary to really enjoy the area and the tavern's . A visit to the micro brewery is a must with great beer and cider on draft.

Brian and Val were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday , but at the same time ensuring we had everything we need , we will defiantly be back .

kind regards
Ian and Melanie

Owner's Response: Val and I are extremely pleased that Ian and Melanie enjoyed their stay, and we just loved their comment, 'We will definitely be back'. It is also the first comment that we have had regarding the new Micro Brewery in Tsada, also the first in Cyprus, but probably not the last!

Stunning setting, a haven of peace

  • 5 of 5
We received a warm welcome from Brian and Val. The villa was spotless and very homely, everything we needed and more supplied. We wanted a complete chill out and that is what you get in this beautiful villa, the gardens are stunning, the pool and seating areas all set out to give the most stunning views. Would highly recommend villa for a holiday, quiet and secluded but also a short walk to a traditional taverna (recommended by the owners) or a short car drive to the bustle of Paphos town with a huge variety of shops and restaurants. We did venture out a few times and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Already looking to arrange a return visit next year.

Owner's Response: Very nice comments from Jessie and Ian, and I can confirm that they have already booked some additional time in July of next year.

I guess Val and I must be doing most things right!
