Welcome, we are the Jednorog's. My husband's name is Kaz and my name is Lone...hence Kazlo's by the Bay. We ourselves have just recently retired and relocated to the Valley from Calgary, Alberta. While living in Calgary Kaz was a Calgary City Policeman for 27 years and I worked in the field of Real Estate for 15 years and prior to that in Social Services. Calgary was a very fine and active city to raise our two children, but for our retirement years we knew the Island was for us. We are excited to be part of this amazing and most welcoming community, and would be honoured to share it with you. Our very short time in the Valley has been filled with new opportunities and adventures. We would love to welcome you to our home...there will be many times we will be tourists together as we all uncover what the Valley has to offer.

Kaz and Lone Jednorog purchased this apartment in 2012

For the 35+ years we lived in Calgary we knew our 'non-working' years would take us elsewhere. A climate less harsh and a calendar year embracing all four seasons. The Valley was the answer. We are blessed to have many dear and long term friends nearby and pulled the Calgary plug and purchased our very special and well-loved home September 2012. We are only two and would welcome the opportunity to share our home with you. Our entry-level home is set-up ideally for you. The home is only three years old and has been extremely well designed for vacationers, as it offers your own private entrance, a family room, main bedroom, den, three-piece bath, laundry facilities and a fridge, microwave, coffee-make and toaster. You will be as excited about your vacation home as we are about ours.

See you soon.

It is all about the views, the newness of the home and the welcoming community of Union Bay. We have Crowne land to the rear of us and forest to the south of us...very private. The Old Island Highway and the New Island Highway are minutes from our doorstep as are the communities of Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland. We offer the most ideal location.
