This is a newly decorated, nice, two bedroom, one and one-quarter bathroom condo in a quiet area of glendale, arizona, just outside of phoenix. This unit is a few, very short minutes to all the sports venues. It is nicely furnished with a fully functional kitchen. The kitchen features granite counter tops, new small appliances, new dishes, pots and pans. The unit sleeps 6. The bedrooms have queen size beds and the living room has a pull out couch. The bedrooms feature sleep number beds so you won't have to worry about mattress comfort. Just select your firmness and sleep soundly. The master bedroom also has a flat screed television and walk-in closet. There are two balconies; one off the living room and the other off the master bedroom. Both face the phoenix greenbelt, which make this unit very quiet and desirable. It is cable equipped with high speed internet. There are 2 flat screen televisions and a blue ray dvd player. You can walk to the park, shopping, urgent care, a major hospital, and grocery shopping. You can also walk to starbucks, einstein bagels, and many other shopping venues. This is a nice, upper middle class condo. It is not a dive nor is it the ritz carlton. It would compare to an embassy suites in quality, but with all the amenities of home. It is very clean with very comfortable furniture. Maid service is available.
Your hosts, Gary and Frances Smith live in Southern California. They have been married for 22 years and have raised 4 daughters. While shopping for college housing for their daughter, who is attending dental school in Glendale, they fell in love with the condo complex and the location.

I stayed 10 days here and it was better than advertised. Very well stocked and incredibly clean. Gary was very fast in returning emails and answering the few queries I had. Great location close to everything. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything. Very happy!
The condo was perfect for our trip. Coffee as the sun was coming up on the porch, walked to the pool, and stocked kitchen for our cooking cravings! Many thanks for the attention to details. Lori
We went to visit our son at college in Phoenix and this condo was in Glendale and worked out perfect. The condo had EVERYTHING you could ask for. The kitchen was so well stocked. They even remembered baggies and chip clips. LOL! It was one block from a Safeway and Starbucks and lots of places to eat.

My three children and I stayed at this location for 1 month. The condo was well kept, clean, and VERY comfortable. As stated in the description, it's very close to stores & most everything you need. A few times we walked to the grocery store - that's how close it was which was real nice. Gary was very kind before, during, and after our stay. We had to call one time late at night because there was rode work being done, and I didn't know how to get back into the condo area & he was very kind & concerned. Also, the day before we were to leave & got sick & couldn't really get out of bed to pack. I emailed Gary, and he said I could stay an extra night to get better. Because he was going to be in the area, him & his wife even offered to bring me soup. I would definitely stay here again and even recommend this condo to others - not just because it was a very nice condo, but because of the owners.
I found this condo while finding an alternative to the bland, boring, cold corporate hotels that we were used to staying in while traveling. I have to say that I was very impressed by this property.
First, the great -
With most rentals, what you see usually isn't what you get. This condo, however, is very much exactly what you see is what you get. It was also clean and well-maintained, all in all.
The condo itself was rather spacious, with two bedrooms, a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, a kitchen that was large enough for two people to cook in, and a decent-sized living room. It was also well furnished with comfortable and modern living room furniture and Sleep Number beds in both bedrooms. It really felt like a home away from home. With full laundry, it really was a home away from home.
It's located in decent proximity to what you'd want to get to in Phoenix; a good portion of where we went while visiting was within a half hour of the property. You also have a hospital, a park, two grocery stores, and lots of additional shopping and dining within very close proximity of the condo - even walking distance.
Even with the close proximity to the hospital, with life flights coming and going, the interior was extremely quiet.
The kitchen was extremely functional, which was important for me as I did want to make my own dinner a few nights during my stay.
The property was also well equipped for entertainment - separate balconies off of both the living room and bedroom overlooking Thunderbird Paseo Park and South Mountain made for an awesome view, and you had fast WiFi (high-end router), a 40" Sony TV with Blu-Ray and HD Cable in the living room, and a 32" Samsung TV with HD Cable in the master bedroom.
The only things that could be considered a drawback are one of the two assigned parking spots was awkward to get a Chevy Impala into and out of (though I'm sure it would have been fine for a smaller car or SUV) and there is only one toilet (not a problem with two people, can be a problem with 4 adults and a small child).
As for the property owner, he was definitely a pleasant and accommodating person, who made sure we had everything we could possibly need from him.
All in all, I would rent this condo for my next stay in Phoenix.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The condo is very clean and well equipped, right down to paper products and laundry detergent! The condo is just as described and we were perfectly comfortable for a month's stay. It is a short walk to groceries, coffee shops and a few restaurants. It is an easy drive to most attractions in the Phoenix area. Thunderbird Park is just outside your door with walking/biking paths. For those interested, it also has Frisbee golf.
This condo faces the Arizona Canal Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is a giant park. The condo gives the feel of being in the country, but you can walk to the park, shopping, urgent care, a major hospital, and grocery shopping. You can also walk to Starbucks, Einstein Bagels, and many other shopping venues.
