Snowmass Village House Rental Photos and Description
Five Bedrooms, 4.5 Bathrooms With Mountain Views
BaseCamp was built in 1977 and we purchased it in 1987. This is a place where up to three families can enjoy a fantastic vacation in the mountains!
Our home has actually 5 bedrooms: 3 king bedrooms, 1 bunk room and a loft. You would enter the house from the street and find yourself in the large living room. A kitchen is located to the left, equipped with a SubZero fridge, electric Jennaire stove and oven, plus dishwasher. It has cooking utensils, glassware and plates, coffee maker, blender, and wine cooler. The dinning room accomodates 12 people. Both the kitchen and dinning room have newly refinished hardwood floors. During the summer and autumn, the generous deck, facing north and west, has a large round table with 6 chairs, 2 stools and a sun umbrella. You can enjoy the view with morning coffee/tea or have a glass a wine and yes, enjoy the view! The living room has a tall beamed ceiling with a wood burning fireplace, a stereo system, bookshelves loaded with books about Aspen/Snowmass, flat screen TV and an electric piano.
The first master bedroom has a king bed, private bath, TV and is located up one level with views facing south of (High Alpine and the Wall) the mountains. The loft with twin beds is above, accessible by a spiral staircase. On the lower level there is the 2nd master bedroom with a king bed, private bath with a TV with views of a wonderful grove of pine trees and more mountains. The third bedroom has a king bed with private bath and a large walk in closet with a sauna across the hall. The bunk room's 4 pine bunk (twin size) beds is great for kids, with the bathroom across the hall. At the end of the downstairs hall is an extra large capacity washer/dryer.

About Karin Olsen Campia
My husband and I enjoy all types of outdoor sports. We have skied extensively each year in Snowmass for the past 26 years, since we purchased our home. We also sail, hike, are avid golfers, tennis players, rowers and cyclists. We have raised 2 daughters and have loved sharing many wonderful outdoor experiences with them. Both girls love all the fun and exciting mountain activities that Snowmass Mountain has to offer and are expert skiers.

Why Karin Olsen Campia chose Snowmass Village
Snowmass Village is a fantastic place to spend quality time with our family. Our home is located a third of the way up the mountain so you can by-pass the often crowded lower lifts by skiing to the Gondola mid-station or by taking a short walk to the High Alpine lift. We love the proximity to the mountains and the activities that are available in the winter as well as the summer. Aspen is a short 7 miles away, so movie theaters, restaurants and great shopping are close but do not dominate our vacation.
What makes this house unique
We love the mountain views and the fact that our home feels private and secluded among tall pine trees. When the wind blows, the trees sigh and rustle. A snow storm is the perfect time to curl up with a good book and watch the snow swirl around the large glass windows of the living room as a fire burns in the fireplace.
