A perfect stay

We have been coming to this delightful 2 bedroom apartment at different times of the year and have enjoyed what the seasons have to offer.

The apartment is light, airy and modern with well maintained gardens. It has a well appointed kitchen with beautiful Villeroy & Boch crockery and good cooking utensils and equipment. The beds are comfortable with good quality bed linen provided. The living room has comfortable furniture, a dining table, flat screen TV and free WiFi. There are two terraces for outdoor eating, one situated just outside the kitchen and the other leading off from the living room and onto the private, secluded garden. The pool is large, well maintained with plenty of sun loungers; there is a small pool adjacent for toddlers. It would be best to have a car, but if not, all is not lost. There is a regular bus service within a 5 minute walk from the apartment to Nice airport and a regular bus into Menton, about a 10 minute drive away, which is a busy, thriving town boasting a food market, pedestrian shopping precinct, plenty of restaurants and a beach.The boulangerie is a short walk from the apartment and the supermarket and butcher are a 10 minute walk away. However there is no restaurant in the vicinity. If you do have a car, there is an allocated parking space for the apartment. Monaco is about a 20 minute drive away and in the other direction Italy. It is a perfect stay for resting and relaxing but also a good location for exploring the nearby area and beyond.

Fantastic location and apartment.

Very big and well located appartment. All facilities required are in place. Very clean and confortable. 2 bathrooms very convinient and toilet. Fantastic little garden space and just 5 seconds to the pool! The pool is very large, never crovded (we were in August) and very clean. You do not need to fight for space:) However, you need a car to get to the coast and beach. But trips from this location are very attractive and good for your fit!

Superb apartment in wonderful location

We have been regular visitors to this part of the Cote d'Azur for thirty years and just wish we had found this apartment years ago. We have stayed here for each of the last two summers and have already booked for 2014.

The apartments is very well maintained, clean and spacious. There are two twin bedrooms - one with en-suite facilities and air conditioning, the other with a separate shower room and toilet. The kitchen is very well equiped and is wider than it looks in the photographs. The lounge is extremely comfortable and includes a large flat screen TV together with a router which enables wifi internet access. There is also a dining table in the room, although we have always eaten outside on the large terrace which opens on to a private lawned garden. A parking space is available in the car park and the superbly maintained gardens surround a large swimming pool together with a smaller children's paddling pool, with sun loungers for all. Karen met us when we arrived and ensured that we had everything we needed - and was contactable to offer whatever support and advice we required during the stay.

The walk to the boulangerie in the morning takes less than five minutes although the mini-supermarket is a little further away. Whilst you really need a car to make the most of the stay it is only a ten minute walk down the hill to the railway station - although it takes longer to climb back up, albeit that you benefit from the views as you do so! It is just a 15 minute journey on the train to Italy[the Friday market in Vintimille is worth a visit] or less than ten minutes in the other direction to Monaco. There are numerous restauarants in Roquebrune Cap Martin, together with an even larger selection in neighbouring Menton.

We would definately recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and restful break and can offer no better recommendation that to say that we feel relaxed and at home as soon as we arrive.
