Newer Home on 1/3 Acre with Wide, Gulf Access Canal

We had a fantastic stay in this home. It is beautiful with everything anyone could want or need. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I found the lay-out of the house perfect with bedrooms separated on each side. We also brought along our four-legged children. There is a fenced area just for them that was wonderful. The garage is huge and the pool/spa was inviting and refreshing. Our son-in-law had a blast fishing the canal from the dock. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, my daugher and I strolled safely in the evenings. The property manager lives next door and was friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. We have rented several homes in Florida and for the price, location, condition and ease of renting, give this one five stars. The owner is very responsive and we will rent this house again soon!

Nice place for a getaway. Certainly beats the cheap beachside hotels and offers a central location to get around. Pros: Master bedroom is located on one end of the house while the other two bedrooms are at the other end - offers privacy.The home is well appointed and the pictures do not do it justice - it is better than the pictures show. Beautiful views of the canal and pool and very quiet and tranquil. Pool heater worked very well!

Cons: The property manager is next door, which you would think is a good thing until you find out he likes to water the plants at 8:30 at night when your not expecting to see a person stalking around the house - not so great, not so private - I am sure he meant well but it was a bit unsettling. The pool was dirty - cigarette butt on the bottom with other trash and needs a good scrub (no pool skimmer - I went and bought one to clean out the crud).

Could use a book with information such as nearby eateries, shopping and attractions. Beach was about 20 minutes away (If you pay the toll - 30 minutes if not). Wireless worked well and was easy to get on.

Bottom line - superb place for a family, cant beat it for the money. If your looking for a couples retreat with a bit of privacy in the pool/spa - maybe not so much, unless the neighbor decides to go on vacation.

This homes location is on a very wide canal and the surrounding area is very quiet. It is also in one of the nicer neighborhoods which is safe to walk at all hours. Our plan was to stay two months in this home and that quickly became three then four. This is by far one of the nicest places we could have stayed especially for the price. The property is very well kept including the wonderfully kept lawn and pool. Most of the issues we encountered were our own creation and all minor bordering on trivial. Even so they were addressed very quickly and without any fuss.

The owner and manager couldn't have been more friendly and easy to do business with. There was some wear and tear from us and our pets above the norm so I fully expected much of the security deposit to be used to fix those issues. To my surprise most of the deposit was refunded. The small portion that was kept had a detailed explanation of the charges which we felt was more than reasonable. I suspect that a normal stay would have the renters getting their full deposit back.

A few notes. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality dishes, utensils and wares. Clearly the owner cares about the quality of a guest stay with these little touches. The pool/spa area is impressive with a very high end easy to use pool heater which was great for relaxing. The home has four bays in the garage but only three are really usable. The three are massive though and can easily accommodate an armada of vehicles. Lastly this home has three dedicated bedrooms with another large office/den/bedroom multi-functional room. The couch in this multi-functional room does fold out to become a fourth bed and it is reasonably comfy but it is not as private as a dedicated bedroom. The owner lists sleeps 8-10 people which can easily be done in this home with plenty of room to spare. This is a very large spacious home.

The wonderful reviews and long term rental history of this property was what sold us on renting this property and happy to say our experience reflects this properties well earned reputation.
