4 bed (sleeps 7) 2 bathrooms, 15mins from airport/sea, TV, WiFi, A/C

Recently externally refurbished stunning villa, with wonderful views of the golf course, surrounding mountains, the Mar Menor and La Manga strip. It is only 15 minutes drive to San Javier Airport and the Mar Menor. There you will find many beaches where the water is warm shallow and calm, children's facilities, a vast choice of restaurants, bars and shopping, medical care etc. There are many other golf courses within a 20 min radius. Peraleja has a stunning club house serving good food and drink on an elevated terrace with spectacular views of the course and local area. There is also a piano bar for a cocktail or two. There is also an Equestrian Centre with horse riding and a small but very Spanish tapas restaurant. There are also tennis courts and a playground. An ideal villa for 2 families to share it sleeps 7, with a perfect location to either enjoy the privacy of your own pool or to be near the myriad of beaches. A 6 seat hot tub allows you to relax and unwind with a glass of fizz.

About the owners: We bought the property 5 years ago and although we live in England we use on a regular basis. My husband is a keen golfer and it is a superb course. We have 1 young son and find it meets all our needs for a holiday when we come with another family. Everywhere is child friendly and so they enjoy their holiday too which means we're happy.

Year purchased: 2007

General approach: This is our Spanish home so it is furnished with high quality furniture and fittings, we have added plastic glassware for use in the pool / hot tub and installed 3Mb high-speed WiFi access for all your web needs. Full English TV is connected so you have everything you need.

We operate an honesty system for alcohol and kitchen basics, please use what's in the cupboards but replace what you use.

Getting there and help: Lots of low cost airlines fly into Murcia (San Javier Airport) keeping the costs down, You will need to hire a car here and we recommend you do that early and with any of the airport based hire firms (we find Solmar and Centauro to be the best value)

Our villa is on the newly developed Peraleja Golf resort that nestles just outside of Sucina a small Spanish town. It is 15 minutes from San Javier airport and is also within similar distance to all major shopping and beach amenities. Peraleja is a private development with only Villas on site and hence is exclusive and quiet and ideal for family or golf holidays. Cartegena and Murcia are both within 25 minutes drive.

Other Activities: Kite surfing. Go karting

Golf: Golf at Peraleja is plentiful, the course here is of an excellent standard and is fun and challenging, Within 1 mile is Hacienda de Requilme, another stunning course and La Torre and others are within 20 minutes drive.

Green fees can be negotiated at the moment so make sure you cut a deal.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pound) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • We require a deposit of 25% to confirm your reservation. The balance must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Payment for the reservation can be made by bank transfer . Reservation payments are non-refundable. At no time will a deposit be refunded. Notification of less than 8 weeks, 100% of the booking fee is payable. In the event that you change your travel dates, it will be understood as a new booking and subject to the cancellation fees. It is strongly recommended that you purchase trip cancellation insurance On arrival an impression will be taken of your credit card. This is in respect of a damage deposit and will be for the amount of 300€. This will only be processed, should any damage or missing items be detected after inspection of the property following your departure. If any damage occurs during your stay, this should be reported immediately to. Loss of any key or garage remote will incur a cost of 70Euro +VAT
  • On the day of your arrival the property will be available from 4pm. If your arrival is earlier, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you before this time. Please note for arrivals after 9pm there is an extra charge of 20€. Properties should be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with us. The property shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each client. When leaving, guests are asked to wash dishes, dispose of any rubbish and leave the property in a reasonable condition. Any additional cleaning charge will be taken from the security/damage deposit. Number and Identity of guests - The client will inform us of the number and names of guests included within the booking. Unless otherwise agreed by us, only the persons indicated by the client when booking shall be authorised to use the property. The number of persons who may use the property may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each property, except for children under 2 years.
  • In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, we are at our sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to vacate the property and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation. The client reserving the property will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a responsible and suitable way, we shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the property without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation. The company, nor the owner of the property shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the property, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.

Notes: There are 4 sun loungers in the garden, an outdoor dining table with 6 seats and parasol for alfresco dining Environmental responsibility One of the most damaging things to the environment is air conditioning that runs when it is not required emitting thousands of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. To prevent us adding to that problem we have installed a system which encourages sensible usage of the aircon. A device is fitted which allows each group a predetermined amount of aircon per week (enough for sensible usage). Once this amount is used up then a further charge would have to be made to add more time. Please ben sensible with the aircon, using it only when the doors are all closed and when you are in the property. Be good to the environment !

Great accommodation

We were in need of sunshine and golfing opportunities, and we were delighted with the property we stayed in. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with a fab layout. The property has been maintained to a high standard and has the benefit of its own garden, small pool, BBQ and sun loungers. There were plenty of golf courses in the area and my husband managed to play five rounds of golf over 5 days including the golf course that the property backs onto. For us just what we needed. Thank you.

PS We had lots of nice sunshine too.
Owner's Response: Our location on a golf course with many others in the vicinity means that keen golfers can easily play a variety of rounds without having to travel too far. For those guests who aren't keen golfers, happily the Costa Calida is pretty consistent when it comes to beautiful weather too!

Beautiful Villa, Lovely Holiday! Again!

We have just returned from another wonderful holiday at this villa. It's a beautiful villa in a wonderful peaceful location. We had a great time, villa was lovely and clean. We have stayed before and just had to go back. Many thanks Julie, your villa is lovely and thanks for letting us rent it! Thanks to Liz an Sam too who look after the villa/pool/hot tub. Lovely people, couldn't do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend this villa! This is a genuine review from someone who has stayed in many villas and this one is wonderful in every way :)

The whole booking process from start to finish, to getting keys etc, amazing!

As for the previous review on here that's negative, no idea where they are coming from, think they stayed at a different villa! To say the resort is deralict is unreal! There isn't a resort in Spain without the odd unfinished property at the moment if you listen to the news! It's a beautiful resort, lovely views from the villa, a real gem! To complain about someone who is keeping the pool and hot tub looked after too often is crazy, surely you'd rather it was kept clean and cared for.

clean modern Villa, ideal for a relaxing holiday

I recently stayed at this villa with a friend as we wanted to catch a little end of season sunshine and play a few rounds of golf over a long weekend. We very much enjoyed our stay. The villa is clean and modern and contemporary furnishings make it feel nice and spacious. It is well equipped and great if you want to self-cater, although we mostly ate out. There are a number of nice restaurants, both on site and in nearby villages, although you do need a car to venture out and generally to explore the area. We played other courses as well as the course on our doorstep and found them well tended and challenging enough for us. The hot-tub in the garden was a welcome addition as, being October, the pool was a little cool.

I would recommend this villa for those people who want a quiet, relaxing break or for people who like to combine some golf and relaxation rather than buzzing nightlife. I would definitely visit again.

Peace and relaxation - delightful!

Having a young family, our requirements are focussed around good space and facilities in a luxury setting and this villa hit the mark in all respects. It is extremely well appointed right down to the hot tub safe champagne flutes, and a real home from home.

Upon arrival we called Liz, who helped us navigate our way to the resort. Although we got there earlier than the stated entry time, she was more than happy to let us leave our luggage there so we could pick up our travelling companions who had flown into Alicante. When we returned it was spotless and the pool was so inviting after a long day travelling. Liz made us feel at home, and even offered to get us a cot if we needed one.

The children had a great time in the pool, and the lilos/buckets etc kept them further entertained. The villa's position gives a great view over the golf course, but isn't so busy as to interfere with your privacy.

Sam kept the pool and tub in tip top condition, and even helped us organise a lift back to Alicante airport for our friends at a good price. Thanks Sam, it's not what you know in life ;-)

The clubhouse has good quality food and is value for money; it was really nice to chat with the other families and home owners.

In summary, high quality, peaceful haven for people with busy lives. Thanks Julie.

Very Relaxing

This is a lovely villa, very well equipped and clean. We all said that this had been the most relaxing holiday we had ever taken (even though you have to cook and clean up yourself LOL). Swimming pool was lovely during the day especially when it was extremely hot and the hot tub was great in the evenings. We had a few meals out in the next village Sucina at Bristo Ems - excellent food. Best breakfast was a restaurant next to the supermarket, sorry can't remember the name. Had a lovely a la carte meal at Palco which is based in Alzaires which is a 5 minute drive. You will need to hire a car. Would definitely recommend this villa
