There's no doubt about it - this area is the quintessential ski region in the United States, and at this charming townhome, you're right near world-class skiing and snowboarding at both Beaver Creek and Vail Resorts. With a backdrop of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains, this cute and cozy three bedroom space can be your home away from home for a memorable and affordable Vail Valley getaway. Perfect for up to eight guests and one pet, come discover the natural beauty this area has to offer year-round!
Head up the walkway and once inside, it's just a few steps up from the slate-tiled entryway to the full, updated kitchen. This space is all decked out out with modern appliances, a wet bar, and stylish granite countertops. If you need some inspiration, the WiFi throughout the home makes finding a recipe online very easy. Will it be coq au vin or trout almondine for dinner? A deck outside features a gas grill for outdoor barbecue feasts, as well as just breathing in that clear Colorado mountain air. Also on this level is a dining room, family room and half bath.
Down the timber beam stair railing, you'll find the three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed, plenty of closet space, and a private bathroom with his-and-her sinks and a dual-head shower. The other two bedrooms feature a queen bed and a twin trundle bed, and a second full bath is also on this level. There's also a comfortable queen-sized sofabed and plenty of fresh linens, so up to eight guests can be comfortably accommodated in this home.
In addition, one dog is welcomed with a $10 per day pet fee ($40 minimum per stay) - and you'll definitely want to check out the fantastic dog park in Edwards on Miller Ranch Road, just a short drive away from the house.
In winter, you're less than three miles from Beaver Creek Resort and Vail is only a 15 minute drive away. Both boast amazing resort amenities, as well as shopping and dining options. Hit the slopes in either direction, and then relax at the end of the day with some hot cocoa before returning to your cozy, modern townhome at Deer Run. And if you don't feel like cooking dinner (or breakfast), nearby restaurant options include everything from fine dining, to bakeries, to pizza.
Along the Eagle River in summer, there are ample opportunities for fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just enjoying the scenic views. Nearby hiking trails have something for all levels of adventurer -- easy, moderate, and strenuous hikes, each surrounded by amazing natural beauty. The regional trail system includes over 60 miles of multi-use trails through the Eagle River Valley. Warm weather also brings unique events to the area like the Culinary Demonstration Series at Eagle Creek Plaza, where chefs from local restaurants give free culinary demonstrations throughout the summer months.
Just a few blocks from the house, you can enjoy access to the Eagle-Vail swimming pool and tennis courts during the summer months. For a day of indoor fun, the Avon Rec Center offers activities including yoga, spin studio, hot tub, five-lane lap pool, cardio equipment, and Pilates classes (for a small fee). An adjoining aquatic center also includes a water slide and lazy river tubing. If anyone in your group is a golfer, the Eagle-Vail Golf Club is practically next door, as well as a dozen other nearby golf courses.
