The latest addition to our short term luxury rentals in Louisville, this perfectly located townhouse in Louisville's premier historic district, The Cherokee Triangle. It is directly next door to our matching townhouse, VRBO 430762, and is only a two minute walk to great restaurants, cafes, shops and clubs.

The townhouse is 1550 square feet. On the first floor is the living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and half bath. The living room has a top quality queen sized sleeper sectional sofa and a gas fireplace. On the second floor is a king bedroom with private full bath and a fully equipped laundry room. The third floor has another spacious bedroom, also with a king bed, a full private bath.

Each bedroom has a 32' flat screen television, the living room has a larger 40' flat screen television above the fireplace. Of course, there is cable and wifi throughout.

Top quality bedding and 400 thread count linens make for extremely comfortable sleeping!

The kitchen if furnished with a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, full sized refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, mixer, pots, pans, utensils and dishes/cutlery for eight.

The neighborhood is filled with gorgeous historic homes, beautiful parks and multiple national landmarks. Fine dining is 1/2 block away, more casual choices like pizza, sushi, burgers and such are all within a block or less.

Outstanding Stay - Would Absolutely Stay Again

We were here for a large family event and rented this along with a large 6 BR house a half block away from the same owner. The condo is in a really great location - easy walk (<5 mins) to many restaurants, coffee houses and shops. Two young couples and two grandkids stayed here and loved it. The BRs are large and were really comfortable. With the pullouts handled 6 very easily. The owner was great to work with - her restaurant recommendations were spot on - the group here really loved Taco Luchador (sp?) that was right across the street (very casual w/ outdoor seating). The whole group had a great time - I highly recommend the condo and would absolutely stay again.

Downtown convenience

I'll start w/the "cons" so we can get to the good stuff.

Cons: kitchen & landing floor badly scratched up, 3rd floor master - paper blinds (???) were ineffective for keeping light out, water pressure in shower sucked (I've had better in outlying regions of Europe), no 2nd nightstand. Most concerning was lack of privacy for 2nd floor master due to the open area to the 1st floor. Caused friction for 2 couples that keep different sleep schedules. Lock on exterior door to gated parking could be sturdier.

Things to be aware of; 2nd floor bedroom is like a loft to the 1st floor living area, you can't see in there, but you can hear everything and so can they, so privacy was an issue for us. The bar crowd is outside your front door on Fri / Sat nights. I found them entertaining at 1:30am, but I'm a night owl. A good pair of earplugs should be sufficient to block them out.

Pros: Nice furnishings, clean and neatly kept, luxurious linens, the bed was incredibly comfortable(!), spacious rooms (except for kitchen), private, gated parking, crazy convenient access from parking to kitchen (8 steps from trunk to fridge), nice, newer appliances, owner was organized, accommodating and easy to deal with, location is wonderfully convenient to bars, shops, restaurants, Starbucks and CVS.

Wicks Pizza was so thick and loaded with toppings, it was a second cousin to lasagna. The Holy Grale had some amazing beer and cider offerings, I'd like to go back when I can sit outside in their Biergarten.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Just with another couple that are night owls.

Owner's Response: Thanks for popping back after all this time to leave a review! The paper blinds have long since been replaces with honeycomb cell shades -Your stay was right after a major renovation project that replaced the third floor windows. There are three weekends a year that are big party weekends in this neighborhood, (St. Patricks, Kentucy Derby and Halloween), your stay hit the Halloween one and I am sorry not to have warned you better! Thanks again for staying with us!

Comfy condo in a hip part of town

This place was an excellent choice for our business trip. Easy access to downtown during the day, and surrounded by walking-distance restaurants and entertainment, affordably priced compared to northeast city options. Neighborhood felt safe, and filled with friendly, eccentric people.

Great rental in Louisville!

We stayed here in May 2014 for a bachelor party and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect with lots of bars and restaurants, plus it was less than a 10 minute drive from downtown. It also had all the necessary amenities, including quality beds/pillows/bedding, nice clean towels, and a full kitchen. The little added touches are what brought it from good to great, including books and magazines in the apartment, TVs with cable, and personally delivered coffee.

A Visit Home

Wonderful place! Accurate description and photos. The property was very clean and well maintained, and very spacious!! This property is in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, coffee houses, and shops and bars, all within walking distance. The owner was great and very responsive. We had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend this lovely townhome.

Note: weekends the area becomes an intense party area for college students, etc, so lots of noise, cars, but causes no sound disruptions within the property. There is assigned parking outside of the townhouse, but partyiers will take the space. When we told a group of girls that they were in our assigned space, they did move, but much later that night we found our rental car had been "keyed!" The owner's representative was very responsive/apologetic, and did attempt to move our parking to the enclosed area. Nonetheless, it did not ruin our stay and we would certainly rent this property again!

There did seem to be some confusion on your part about parking during your stay- the townhouse has one designated space in covered, gated parking and one visitor space in the open parking area. The gated space is marked with the townhouse number and is reserved for just that townhouse. The visitor spaces are not designated by townhouse, so you were not automatically entitled to the visitor space closest to your townhouse door, but are welcome to use any open visitor space (displaying the visitor pass from the rear view mirror). I was very, very surprised by the idea that several young women college students "keyed" your car- In the years that we have owned the townhouses there have been zero incidents of that kind. That the young women would move their car from the space that you wanted without complaint and then return later, on foot, to vandalize your car seems extraordinary-- please send me, by email, any details that you have about this so that I can follow up with our homeowners association and local police. Thanks again for staying with us last July!

Comfortable convenient worked really well for getting downtown and being in heart of Highlands

Thanks so much for offering your condo here. This worked really well for bringing my family along while I had business to attend to. The location enabled them to walk to great restaurants and the park. (Although it was really cold so they couldn't stay too long)

I was really surprised by all the great restaurants and we appreciator all your advice about where to go and what to do. The kids enjoyed the day at the zoo which was a short drive away. I can see how being on the busline would be great for other business people (but my employer picked me up)

I would return this provider if I get the chance to return to Louisville.
