John and Carol are married, no kids and have a dog and a cat. We have lived in Leelanau County since 1994 and bought an old farmhouse built in the 1860's and live in the Glen Lake area. We are born and raised Michiganders but came here after living 10 yrs. in San Diego. John is a property manager and Carol is a speech therapist at a head injury clinic, we are basically working class ordinary people. We love the outdoors, the beach, cross country skiing, hiking and all the things that lead us to this beautiful place. And we do not text and have it blocked on our phones so pls. leave a voice message or contact via e-mail or alternate phone no.
We chose Northport for our rental as the village is so quaint yet 'hip' as well. It reminds one of a New England coast town. It is at the tip of the Leelanau pennisula and is not overrun with tourists and has maintained it's character. We love the whole village as it has everything you want or need. Being right in the village you can walk a few blocks or ride bikes to everything. There is every outdoor thing you might want and the marina park is beautiful. People are friendly and it seems no one is ever in a hurry.
no extra cleaning fee, various payment options with discounts available, dog friendly and convenience of location in the village.
