3 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanview condo with Lanai
Interested in a vacation on the Big Island in a quiet and reasonably priced, fully equipped large modern condo with: beautiful ocean views, a short walk to Kailua Village for restaurants & shops, and a small beach across the street? This 3 bedroom/2 bath luxury condo is located in the gated Alii Cove Condominium complex in Kailua-Kona and is a short walking distance from delicious ocean front dining, shopping, and coffee shops for that morning brew. The condo is across the street from Honl's Beach, and has sights of cruise ships when moored in Kailua Bay. In addition, the condo has a tropical theme and a lovely lanai for outside dining with ocean views. You will also have access to the complex facilities including workout gym, pool, wading pool, spa, and barbeques.
This three bedroom two bath unit is appoximately 1324 ft2 in size and is located upstairs in a four-unit building. It is in the first line of condominium buildings facing Alii Drive that have ocean views that do not look over parking lots and other apartments. The condo is near the pool/exercise complex & barbeques. The view from the lanai is wonderful, you can hear and see the ocean, and the sunsets are beautiful! The condominium includes a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, granite counters, oven/stovetop, refrigerator, pots/pans, dishes, utensils, glasses & cups, knife-block, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, energy efficient lighting, and portable iPod player and bar seating. The separate dining area has seating for six. The family room features a 55” flat screen HD TV, Digital Cable with DVD player and a hide-a-bed sofa. Wi-Fi also is available. The master bedroom features a California King-sized bed and flat screen TV and DVD player, plus ocean views and a door offering lanai access. It also features a walk-in closet and an adjoining vanity with double sinks, toilet and a large shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 double beds. A second large bathroom is situated between the second and third bedrooms and includes a tub/shower combination. There is also a washer and dryer within the condo for your use. There are two convenient parking spaces near the unit, one covered.
There is central A/C in this condo, but it is expensive to run because of the very high cost of electricity on the big island. So, we encourage everyone to be energy efficient and to adjust to the tropical weather by fully using the ocean sea breezes through doors & windows day & night, and to use the ceiling fans. However, it is okay to use the A/C, but there will be an extra charge based on an electricity use allotment of $200 per month (some others charge an extra $10/day if the A/C is used).
Alii Cove HOA rules do not allow condos to be rented for periods less than 30 nights. Depending on stay dates the special rates for this condo are between $3200 and $3800 a month plus Hawaii tax of 13.42% and a cleaning fee of $160. To check availability, review the calendar. We also require a $500 security deposit at the time the unit is reserved. At that time, we will send you instructions via email on getting into the gated complex, how to get the keys, etc.

This is a peaceful and relaxing 'home' in Paradise with modern conveniences and beautiful ocean views. We also love its walking proximity to Kailua Village which has great cafes for that morning coffee, shopping, dining and nice beach areas. Honl's Beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the condo. Once at the condo you can park your car and walk into town along the ocean in about 10 minutes or ride the seasonal tram or drive to great snorkeling & some of the most beautiful beaches within 15 minutes. The feeling is very laid back and the people are wonderful. The Big Island offers a lot of variety, so much to see and do!
