Torre delle Stelle Villa Rental Photos and Description
3 bedrooms, sleeps max. 5
Gorgeous newly built detached villa with private pool with salted water in the south east coast of lovely and unspoilt Sardinia. The villa is within the sought after village called 'Torre delle Stelle' which literally means the Tower of the stars after the ancient tower that dominates the whole area, and all the streets named after stars and constellations.
The villa has recently been built by my husband to a very high standard in compliance with the most recent Italian regulations in terms of health and safety. The position it occupies is particularly happy as it is at very short walking distance from the local amenities (the nearest bar, shop and restaurant are 100 m away), from the gorgeous beach (300 m away - walkable by children), and from the park.
Accommodation is arranged over two floors and comprises of dining living room with cooking area and one guest cloakroom with washing machine on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms (one double, one single and one twin) and 2 shower rooms (one en-suite to the master bedroom) on the first floor. The villa is surrounded by a paved area and has the benefit of off street parking, built-in BBQ and outside shower. Given the very easy walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach, it is perfectly feasible to holiday in my villa without having to hire a car. However, please do enquire regarding opening days and times for the period prior to Easter as the shops may be closed from Monday to Thursday. However, they are open from Easter to onwards for 7 days a week. From June to September there are also 2 bars on the nearby beach and water toys can be hired during the high season. Villa Ami can be let in conjunction with property n. 10800.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Hello Angela, we had a fabulous time at villa Ami. The four of us had had a very hectic few months before our holiday in Sardinia, and the villa was the perfect place for complete relaxation and peace. I don't think we've ever been so lazy! I loved the privacy, and the only decisions we had to make were whether to stroll to the beach or not, and whether to eat out or cook in. We had no regrets about not hiring a car, just ploughed through our holiday reading in peace.
All in all, a really special place.
My name is Angela and I am married with Karim. We have lived in the UK, where both our two children (12 and 14) were born, for a long time and we just loved it. 7 years ago we decided to move back to Sardinia as we were missing the sun and my family too much as I am originally from South Sardinia. 15 years ago, before the children were born, Karim and I went on a tour in Torre delle Stelle and simply fell in love with the uniqueness of this enchanting environmentally protected area. Shortly afterwards we purchased our first villa in the village which we started to let straight away as our use of it was limited to only 3 weeks a year. Given the success we had with the rentals, we decided to invest more in Torre delle Stelle and Karim built Villa Ami. I have to be honest my contribution was minimum, he has done a great job all by himself.
Torre delle Stelle is perfect for families with young children, the villa is child friendly and the beach which is literally at 300 m (walkable) away is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for making friends. Most owners are professionals from Cagliari that spend their summers and their weekends in their villas so there is a sense of community that adds to the loveliness of the area. Pretty much everything food-wise is available to buy in Torre delle Stelle again at short walkable distance, around 100 m. However, full assistance is provided for anyone wishing to do a 'big shopping' in a bigger supermarket. In Cagliari there are two amazing markets where you can buy all sorts of seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, meat, home made bread and cakes and etc. It is a real feast of colours and lovely smells, as well as a good chance to meet the locals going about their daily routine. I would advise anyone going to spend a day in the lovely Cagliari to visit one of the markets! Cagliari herself deserves a day, the beautiful old part called 'Castello' (Castle) apart from being full of monuments dominates the entire town
As mentioned in the 'About you' section, I did not buy this villa, my husband built it according to the latest building and safety regulations. The villa was in fact built 4 years ago and everything, electricity, water and etc is fully certified. The property is therefore practically brand new and has been built bearing in mind what a family would normally want when renting a villa on which to spend a holiday: walking distance to gorgeous beach, walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants, walking distance to play area and last but not least a pool with salt water (no chemicals!) on which the children can play while the parents read, sunbathe, or enjoy a glass of good wine either from the terrace or from the living area without losing sight of their children. Villa Ami is all this and you can definitely do without a car.
