This is the perfect vacation rental home in downtown Austin! I have hosted big groups of friends, bachelor/bachelorette parties, groups of couples, bands and well-known big name companies & smaller businesses attending conferences/festivals/SXSW. I've also hosted families with children and couples looking for the perfect getaway lodgings. Great for all group types and pet friendly. I strive to provide guests with the perfect home base with all the creature comforts, in the perfect location for exploring what Austin has to offer. I have lived in Austin my entire life and I want to help make your trip one-of-a-kind! I’m available for suggestions of trendy new hot spots, and unique, only in Austin activities!

A must stay! 3 blocks from the Rainey Street Bar/Restaurant District! This area is the go-to spot for the Austin young professional nightlife scene. A short walk anywhere else downtown, including the convention center. The East 6th Street entertainment district is blocks away. Walk 2 blocks to Lady Bird Lake. Walk/Run/Bike the scenic Hike and Bike Trail or Kayak/Paddle Board on the lake as the sun sets. Kayak/Paddle Board/Small sailing and paddle boat rentals available blocks away. Walking distance to 6th Street, Congress, Paramount Theater, restaurants, bars, music venues, Texas Longhorn tailgating, DKR stadium, museums, a public pool, grocery store, coffee shops, comedy shows, improv shows, movie theaters (Alamo Ritz and Violet Crown), breweries (Hops & Grain), theater, art galleries, and other nightlife. The perfect location for the vacationer who wants to walk to everything unique that Austin has to offer. Covered, full basketball court (ball provided), soccer field, and 2 big playgrounds right across the street at a nearby Elementary School. The home has tons of upgrades. Real wood floors. No carpet. Large master bedroom with big bathroom. Modern kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. High ceilings. The perfect fenced in yard for hanging out/re-cooperation. Perennial herb and flower gardens. Fresh vegetables available for cooking during some parts of the year. Custom ping pong table, foosball table, 2 beer pong tables, Cornhole set, tons of chairs, a Weber grill and a hammock all available for outdoors use. Plenty of lighting for hanging out at night, including overhanging Edison bulbs and lights on a big, beautiful tree creating the perfect evening atmosphere. Beautiful tree covered neighborhood. 1st Floor: 2 IKEA full fold out couches, 1 IKEA queen futon.
2nd Floor: 1 queen bed (Tempurpedic), 1 full bed (Posturepedic), 1 full click clack fold out couch.
3rd Floor: 1 queen bed (memory foam), 1 full click clack fold out couch.
Additionally: 1 double cot for two people and 2 single 1 person cots. 20 sleeping spaces total. There are more than enough fresh sheets, blankets and pillows for all these sleeping spaces. All sleeping spaces are extremely comfortable!

-Tons of windows to let in light for a very open feel.
-1st floor: Big fully furnished living room with a big screen LED TV. Apple TV with streaming Netflix, HBO Go, and ESPN. A large granite counter with 9 stools, perfect for meal preparation, dining, a game of cards or just socializing. A state of the art kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Large surfaces for cooking and serving. All needed cooking ware and dining ware for 20+. Stained concrete flooring throughout. Large one half bath.
-2nd floor: All wood flooring. Big master bedroom. Brand new, energy efficient, stack-able front-loading Washer/Dryer located on 2nd floor landing. Master full bath with his and her sinks and large mirror. Garden bathtub with shower. Some soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Hair dryer provided.
-3rd floor: All wood flooring. 2nd bedroom. Deck overlooking the neighborhood and the downtown skyline. Deck has plenty of seating and a table. Atmospheric lighting. Great for late night dominoes or cards!
-Yard: The perfect yard with privacy fence for rest, relaxation and socializing. Perennial herb and flower gardens. Custom ping pong table, foosball table, 2 beer pong tables, Cornhole set, tons of chairs, a Weber grill and a hammock. At night, turn on the overhanging Edison bulbs and tree lights for the ultimate nighttime atmosphere.

Easy to Find!
Arriving by car:
3 blocks off IH 35. Very easy to find with plenty of parking in the area.
Arriving by plane:
Our house is located 12 blocks away from Capitol Metro Bus Route '100-AIRPORT FLYER' drop offs on 4th and Trinity. We are also a 15 minute cab ride from the airport. Remember, Austin cabs only take 4 persons at one time.
Specific to ACL Weekend:
Walk 2.5 miles through wonderful downtown Austin and along beautiful Lady Bird Lake to the festival. An awesome 10 minute bike ride. A cab can get you within 0.5 miles of the event within minutes. Very close to many of the after shows!
Specific to Formula 1 Weekend:
Less than 1 mile from the shuttle to the Circuit of Americas Race Track (15th and Trinity). Walking distance to the Convention Center, Moody Blues/ACL Live, and the Erwin Center. Walk to these events centers as well as the Austin Fan Fest (free) going on downtown in Austin's Warehouse district. Just a couple blocks away from several Capitol Metro bus lines. If driving to race, the track is less than 12 miles away with easy access to Hwy 183.
General renting information throughout the year (Holidays, big events and special weekends have higher rates):
-$400 per night ($600 Th/Fri/Sat/Sun nights) / $3,000 per week / $10,000 per month (Rates may vary depending on holidays & local events)
-Over 10 Person Fee may apply
-No night minimums (Higher rates for 1 night rentals and night minimums may vary depending on weekend rentals, holidays & local events)
-$200 Non-refundable Cleaning Fee
-$1,000 Refundable Deposit
- A rental agreement will need to be signed at booking. I can provide you with a copy at any time.
15% LOCAL AND STATE TAXES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE NIGHTLY RATE AND WILL BE ADDED AT BOOKING. THESE TAXES ARE COLLECTED BY THE HOMEOWNER AND THEN PAID TO THE CITY AND STATE QUARTERLY.

I fell in love in this house when I first saw it. It's the perfect getaway while still located with walking access to all that downtown Austin has to offer. It's also blocks from up and coming entertainment areas like Rainey Street and East 6th Street.
