Our beautiful Condo is located at the great Maui Banyan property. Our lovely two bedroom condo is located on the ground floor with no stairs and features two private bedrooms, two bathrooms, and individual lanais. The guest bedroom offers two full size bedding, beautiful glass pocket doors and access to the large lanai.

The master bedroom offers King size bedding, private bathroom, and a second lanai. Additional bedding is located in the living room with a queen size sofa-sleeper and lanai access. This tropical complex offers two beautiful pools & Jacuzzis, outdoor barbecues, and tennis court. Sleeps six to eight people. All of our condos are non-smoking.

The Maui Banyan Condominium is located in beautiful South Kihei, on the island's south shore. The resort enjoys a prime location and access to adjacent Kamaole Beach II which is one the best beach in the island of Maui, with its playgrounds and open green space. The property features two swimming pools. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping, and island activities.

The condo has new Brazilian Slate Ceramic tile floors throughout' and 'newly painted' and granite counters with fully equipped kitchen.

View from the Lanai: Garden, and the West Maui Mountains. The walk to popular Kamaole II beach is just a minute walk from the condo! This is one of Maui's finest swimming beaches!

About Med Mirin

We live in San Diego, Ca with my wife and my two boys. We felt in love with this beautiful island from the very first time and we decided to purchase our own piece of paradise. We go to Maui every year.

We love Maui and the ocean! Especially since the water is warm year around. I am a Network Eng. and Telecommunication specialist which I love to do.

nice place to stay, good location

the condo was nice and roomy, the complex was well kept and it was nice a quiet. great location across the street from beach and near restaurants and shops. on the other side, the condo was very dark and not as clean as I would have liked. we definately left it cleaner than we found it.

The condo is cleaned and checked entirely by our professional long term cleaning crew every time after our guest's departure. I will of course bring your observation to their attention and I am sure they will address any matter that might have been missed. I know our cleaning crew very closely and they are really trying to provide the best service for us. Thank you for providing a very nice place for us to stay in Maui. Everything was just as stated. The beach is very close, the pool not far away as well. We really liked the accommodations, especially the fact the second bedroom with the two beds is almost like it's own separate hotel room, completely separate from the rest of the condo. The sofa couch not so comfy, but haven't even found one that was. Great place and nice price. the owners are awesome and very good with communication. Had 8 people and plenty of hot water, not sure what the other person was talking about there. Will book again soon!

Maui Banyan condo

Condo was in a great location. Minutes away from the beach, a short walk for morning coffee or breakfast if desired. Common area with bbq really nice. But the condo was not exactly as advertised. It is not newly renovated. (I was in another unit that had been renovated. HUGE difference.) Nicely painted and I believe floor tiles are all new. Cupboards are definitely not new. Countertop is stained with paint. Appliances are old. I realize the photographs are staged but the actual coffee pot is extremely stained and the actual tea kettle looks like it was picked up from a camping site. Which is all ok - if we weren't expecting newly renovated. We also didn't see anything new that may have been added to the kitchen amenities that was mentioned in a response to another review. Either the tub or the floor under the tub (extending up from the drain) is deteriorating. I also don't think the beds are queen size in the 2nd bedroom. We respected the landlord's wish for us not to wash towels or bedding so had to buy more towels as there were not enough to last 5 adults 8 days. When I washed our purchases I found additional towels sitting in the dryer. We used these as beach towels as there weren't any others to use. The washing machine had dirt and sand all over when I went to use it - I left it as I found it.

Was the place horrible? Absolutely not. It was ok. But it should not be advertised as being newly renovated.

We have already updated and changed some of the details per your feed back. We do constantly change, add, replace and repair all necessary details at the properties due to heavy usage, lost, break, Sands etc. and It is true that the condo has been renovated last year with Brazilian Ceramic Slate Tile in all area including the lanai, Kitchen has been entirely resurfaced with Granite counter top and ceramic back slash. We also opted to go with lighter color for appliances so we can keep the property light and serene. Our purpose was not to do anything drastic in term of total change of the property and we tried to keep the simplicity and serenity at the corner stone of all consideration. We believe that the Maui Island travel experience is truly aligned with encountering Nature beauty, Simplicity, Serenity and time for reflection and we hope our property has been able to provide such experience for our respectful guests. Once again, we do thank you for your choice and look forward to welcome you back in the close future. We have just returned from Maui after spending 2 weeks at the Banyan. We were all very relieved to find the apartment in good shape. The location was superb, the beds very comfy. The lanai surrounded by bamboo tree's/palms made us feel like we had our own garden and provided shade all day so we could enjoy all our meals outside. The outside furniture a little dated but adequate....Take a small tablecloth with you. The Banyan complex is kept immaculate, pool area and gardens always clean and well manicured.I did expect the pool to be a little closer but happy to have a barbeque area steps from our lenai.I did find the kitchen short of a couple of essential items but have talked to the owner who I am sure will put right.I look forward to returning to Maui one day and would definitely book this apartment again

Family of 2 adults and 1 youth who rented this apartment for a 3 week period

The apartment was centrally located in south Maui making it very accessible to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. The two balconies were nice however only one had any seating and there is no view of the water despite the owner saying there is. On arrival the apartment was extremely dirty; hair in the bed linen, torn and stained bedsheets, hair and grime in the bathtub, grime and dirt on the floors, counters dirty, food remnants in the sofa and pull out bed and all the draperies in the apartment were heavily soiled. The condo is not sufficiently stocked to allow you to cook a full meal without having to make due with a basic kitchen implement. The hot water tank was suffieicent for one short shower a day, the washer and dryer were nice however the dryer vent was broken and vented into the apartment.

Owner's Response: We do value the feed back from all of our kind guests. In all these years that we had our property booked by all of our distinguished guests we have never had any complain of any sort as we experienced recently with one of our guests. It is true while we strive for total satisfaction for our guests, accomplishing a task of 100 percent total satisfaction will be an on-going daily effort. Although we respect all matter of opinion, our newly remodeled property could not even be close to what it has described as knowing that we have one of the most reputed and long time professional cleaning team on the island. Our property has been always praised for cleanness and of course our prompt response for any additional cleaning that might be needed during our guests stay and eventually by their heavy use of the condo. Also, at no time the property has been stipulated as having water view except the garden view of the beautiful garden from all rooms. Our condo is just a minute walk from the beautiful beach and ocean. There are also chairs and tables for sitting on both side of the lanai for both rooms! All of our guests have been cooking without any issue at all as the kitchen is truly equipped with all that is needed. In fact, we even got extra items for our guest as a matter of courtesy to their additional daily requests including new mixer, etc. We certainly understand that some guests might need to be as close as what they have at their own house and we are willing to do any possible extra miles to achieve that goal for them. Again, our goal is the total satisfaction for our guest. We have never had any broken vent issue yet alone to be vented to the condo and to our surprise we still do not know where that suggestion is coming from! The water heater is the size that is deployed for all properties in Maui Banyan condos and so far it has been totally satisfactory and sufficient for more than 400 properties for more than 10 years! The island living is an experience by itself and yes, some elements might be different compare to our daily life in our own house yet the beauty of Maui vacation is simply to its more of simplicity and serenity projected from our property and that was our goal to share such experience with all of our wonderful guests and for that we are grateful and blessed. We welcome all to our property and we strive of excellence and unforgettable experience for our guest. Thank you
