Welcome to a charming cottage in the exclusive Enatai Neighborhood in West Bellevue, 2 minutes drive to downtown Bellevue; located in a beautiful secluded garden surrounded by trees, birds and partial view of lake Washington from the garden.
The cottage can accommodate comfortably up to 4 people (2 Bedroom, 1000 square feet). At the bottom floor it has a living room, kitchen, washer, dryer and a small desk. The top floor has 2 Bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed with a walking closet. The smaller room has a comfortable futon bed and a dresser. There's a large and comfortable bathroom off the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. There’s high-speed internet with Wi-Fi access and HD TV in the living room.
Parking is available next to the cottage.
There are three waterfront parks nearby, walking trails, public tennis court, basketball court and a playground. Entertainment venues such as restaurants, bars, movie theaters are 2 minutes away as well Bellevue business center.
Businesses nearby include companies such as Microsoft, Expedia, and Google.

We have lived in Bellevue for 20 years. It is a wonderful place that has gone through tremendous growth. It has finally become a true Northwest modern city with lively downtown.

We live in a beautiful forested area that feels like a true Northwest with large trees and partial view of lake Washington. The cottage is located on our property. It's located in the center of it all, yet it is tucked away to ensure complete privacy with everything right around it.
You are in downtown Bellevue, yet it feels like you are vacationing in some remote Northwest island cabin. You get to relax and walk around the nearby parks yet, if you want to walk 20 minutes you are in the heart of downtown Bellevue. By car, everything is right next to you. Downtown Bellevue is 5 minutes, downtown Seattle is 15 minutes.
This was one of the most relaxing places I have stayed in Bellevue. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quite, then this is the place. I felt at home from the moment I arrived. I would choose the home over a hotel every time, without hesitation.
The setting was gorgeous, and we loved the surrounding area. The park down the street was beautiful. The bed had to be moved a bit, in order to not hit your head, but that was a minor fix. Also, we put added sheets over the sheer curtains to block some light. Our favorite restaurant in Bellevue was Lunchbox Lab. The cottage was a nice alternative to a hotel.
We loved staying in Bellevue! It was the first visit to the Seattle area for most of us. The accommodations were great! We did a lot or tourist activities- Aquarium, harbor boat cruise,Pikes Market and driving tour in the Cascades. We also attended our nieces graduation from UW.
First time to the Seattle/Bellevue area - my spouse and I love the outdoors as well as taking a break to head to quaint restaurants. After researching hotels and other spots - this one was a perfect fit - cozy, roomy, beautiful private garden setting - but still just walking distance to trails, parks, and the city. It was a great fit to go out hiking, riding, city touring and then come back to a quiet place. Very clean, extra's being available that made life easy - like doing laundry, cooking.
we'd recommend and do again ourselves. Host was very polite and friendly - checked in once just to make sure we were all set - and check in again just to let us know how to check out. That was it. simple, easy.
We loved everything about this property - it was exactly as advertised; quiet, secluded and relaxing. The neighborhood can be a bit tricky to navigate but the owner provided directions in advance and made himself available to "talk us in" which turned out not to be necessary. The cottage is very close to the 405 freeway, downtown Bellevue and the lake, but you'd absolutely never know it. Everything inside the cottage was well-maintained and clean, lots of towels in the bathroom, great shower with lots of water pressure, lovely kitchen with every tool you'd need, a nice big HD TV (though we didn't use it but once) and very comfy beds and linens and so on. Also, the wireless internet was FAST! Even though the cottage is two bedrooms, it feels much larger thanks to the layout as well as the décor and furnishings chosen. We'd absolutely go back.
My sisters and I stayed at the Secret Garden Cottage and had a most wonderful time! This hideaway is quiet and tranquil, very comfortable and yet close to everything. The owners were extremely easy to make arrangements with and made sure that we were settled in before leaving us to explore the area. All three of us want to return with our own families for another visit in the future!

• Mercer Slough Nature Park: This little gem definitely worth a visit. There are flat walks in a beautiful nature preserve right inside the city about 15 minutes away from our house.

There are plenty of water activities here. You may rent a Kayak or a canoe at Enatai beach park or in Seattle by the university. There are plenty of operators (primarily Argosy) that offer cruises around Lake Washington or the Puget Sound. You may also grab a ferry to the Olympic Peninsula or one of the nearby Islands. It’s endless, so you will have to consult with tourist information and pick your favorite (or ask us).

You should check out downtown Seattle, Bellevue and Kirkland. Redmond town center may also be of interest. If you want to venture out, there are plenty of other small towns, outlet centers, road trips, hiking, sightseeing all over. For example, 30 minutes away you can drive to check out Snoqualmie Falls. Pretty impressive falls really nearby. Continue and grab a bite in a small town called Fall City and then finish up with shopping in North Bend Outlet Center. Or, spend a week in the city of Seattle, check out the Locks in Ballard, Jazz in the Jazz Alley, an Opera at the Benaroya Hall, the Piers, Seattle Center, and more. Consult with tourist information.
