Good and Bad

  • 2 of 5
The rental was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and nicely furnished, however we stayed when it was hot and weren't aware that there was no air conditioning on the main floor and were quite uncomfortable during the day.

They have a great flat panel TV, but we stayed during World Cup Soccer, and they don't subscribe to ESPN. Also they have only one TV, so the kids and adults argued over what to watch.

The clubhouse has a very nice swimming pool and everyone loved it, but the guard would only let 6 people in at a time from any one location (that included the adults that just wanted to watch.) So at no time could we all go in together. That might have been because we stayed on a holiday. Still a disappointment.

But the biggest problem was that we spilled something on the coffee table in the living room and it caused a stain. The table was made from concrete and the finish had various shades of gray. The owner insisted that the table be redone or replaced. We were also reminded that there is a rule that no food should leave the tiled area in the kitchen and/or back patio. That mistake cost $500. so if you decide to stay here, be aware.

I wouldn't recommend this site to those coming in the heat of the summer.

Excellent Stay at the Condo in Park City

  • 5 of 5
Just a note of thanks for a wonderful place to stay. This was ideal for our family size of around 10 to 14 people staying at any one time. It is ideally situated for access to Kimball Junction, the new mall area, movies and old Park City. There are excellent biking/walking trails adjacent to the unit. My family commented on what a nice, new, clean unit this was. Particularly appreciated the large kitchen and living room for gatherings. Thanks for a great place to stay. The owners were extremely helpful and nice and allowed us to use their bikes and other items needed to make a great vacation. Thanks.

Are home away from home! What an amazing house that provides everything we need for a great ski vacation. We always invite 3 or 4 other couples to join us and we never feel like we are crowded. Thank you for providing such a wonderful escape. We will be back for years to come! You have to try the olympic boblsed run, the olympic park is very close the house.

Great home away from home. Comfortable, clean, and perfect for family. Fantastic stay! Thank you!

Let me start by saying I am super picky about where I stay and sleep, and this home met all of my standards. It is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and in a great location. Started the stay with a trip across the street to Whole Foods, and made ourselves at home in this gorgeous, tastefully decorated home. Perfect for a small group or a large group. When we go back to Park City this will be where we stay!

good place for 2-3 families

  • 5 of 5
A great place for 2-3 families. We came for a 4 day ski trip wanting to be close to Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley. It's about a 3 minute drive to Canyons, a 7 minute drive to Park City and a 10 minute drive to Deer Valley - and it's easy, fast driving. Really convenient - in contrast to Tahoe where you have to park and then shuttle to the resort, we parked right at the front even at 9:30am (normally peak time). Really convenient.

The Bear Hollow complex is right off the highway and across the road (big road) from Smith's (grocery store), Whole Foods, WalMart, and Maxwell's (decent pizza) - though a very short distance, it's not very walkable.

This condo does not have a hot tub but you have access to the clubhouse hot tub which is big (can fit 12-14 people comfortably) and is really nice. It's a drive to the clubhouse but the hot tube was never crowded even during President's Day weekend.

The kitchen is well stocked with enough dishware, silverware for 12 people - and the dining room table is great for group dinners. The sofa in the living room is DIVINE - seriously, it's a really really nice Room & Board sectional (we were so in love with the sofa that we looked!) - some of us even fell asleep there.

The owner has bikes and a snowboard/boots that we could use (but we didn't) - rentals at Park City were really convenient and inexpensive (around $20-$22 a day, $30 for snowboard).

For ski tickets - getting tickets at a ski shop in SLC is definitely cheaper for Park City - or stop at the SLC Costco to get cheap multi-day passes. Once you are in Park City, there are no discounted tickets (aside from the Canyons SMS text discount).

Do not miss the Olympic Park which is in the hills right behind Bear Hollow Village - the best part is actually seeing athletes practice skeleton, luge and bobsled right then and there - you can get really close and touch the ice chute!

Awesome Home!

  • 5 of 5
My friends and I stayed at this house for 4 days this past weekend. This is my first time at Park City, but for my other friends they have been visit often. Marni was great to work with and we couldn't have been more pleased. She was able to accommodate our check in and check out time. There was a group of 10 adults and there was enough room for all of us. Love the open living area and kitchen area and the 4 restroom that came in handy with a big group. Towels, shampoo, soap, detergent, dish washing liquid was all provided. Very well organized house with lots of plates, dishes, and utensils which was great for our dinner nights at the house.

Only thing we would have liked was a personal jacuzzi. There is a public one in the community along with a pool and gym. However, after a long day of snowboarding/skiing, it would be great to just hop in and not have to drive over to the community pool/jacuzzi. But overall great home and great owner to work with.

Thanks for everything!
