Guestbook comments from the owner
We enjoyed our stay at your Breckenridge home. Thank you. It was a perfect fit for us. Hopefully, you found the residence in good condition upon our departure.
Otherwise, nothing else we are aware of.
Samantha grew up in a military (Navy) family moving from place to place... Married Mike, a military (Army) man... Yes, it made for some interesting conversations at family gatherings. Mike retired from the Army in 2007 and continues to work in the defense industry. Samantha is a Financial Advisor that works with Soldiers and their families. We love the outdoors and our dogs and horses. We recently moved to Elizabeth, CO which is about 40 minutes from Aurora/Denver from Central Texas..
We were invited up to the Breck area to ski with some friends that we were stationed with in Germany. We both fell in love with the area and were determined to find a place to 'escape' the Texas heat. Our search brought us to this wonderful home that is just a short distance from all the activities in Breckenridge... but still has that serene peaceful feeling of being in the country. Sitting up on the second story deck drinking a cup of coffee while watching the moose (yes, moose) wander around below is the ideal start to the day. Being minutes away from great hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing is a perk too. Having a dog friendly neighborhood was key for us too. Being able to jump in your car and drive less than 5 miles to great food, shopping and entertainment and skiing makes this the full package. It just doesn't get any better than this. If you love all things outdoors... this is the perfect place..
Two seperate kitchens, living areas and laundry facilities (one on each floor) makes this a great place for big families or many couples. Lots of space to spread out.
Flat panel TV's in bedrooms and living rooms. Quiet reading room upstairs so you can enjoy the sun and read a great book. Wii, DVD player and moves, games and puzzles in living areas for family fun time. Wifi throughout the house. Computer station upstairs just in case you forgot your computer. Variety of toys for all ages.
Outdoor playground right around the corner.
We have tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable and worry free to include all the bulky baby items such as a pack n play, highchair, booster chair, baby gates (for the stairs), plates, sippy cups, etc. we even tried to think of the four legged family members...water/food bowls, crates, toys and an endless supply of tennis balls.
