This Penthouse Suite is situated on the 25th floor of an executive, high rise building, affording tremendous views over downtown Vancouver and Coal Harbour. With spectacular vistas of the city, mountains and Pacific Ocean, close to city transit and tour buses and 25 minutes from the Vancouver Airport, this is an ideal condo for your stay in Vancouver.

With floor to ceiling windows, this condo has dramatic outlooks towards the downtown core. Water and mountain views are present to the north-east. A fully equipped kitchen area, comfortable living areas and a full bath will make you feel like home. The gas fire place is exposed to both the living area and the bed room, creating both warmth and a pleasing ambiance in both areas. A third person can easily be accommodated on a bed-convertible couch in the living room. The apartment block is fully secured and one underground parking spot is available.

Please note, with regard to access to common area building amenities such as pools, fitness areas, saunas, hot tubs, or other common area places, can not be guaranteed available at all times. Due to maintenance work, break downs, building bylaw changes, or any reason that could prevent access during a guest stay to any common area amenities will not be compensated.

Location, location, location

EMR Vacation Rentals deserves an A+ for professionalism, response time and graciousness.

This is a nice condo in an excellent location but it is very small and compact, about the size of a hotel room with a small bedroom. It is located in the most densely populated district in Canada the West End neighborhood of Vancouver, BC.

I cannot emphasis enough that you won’t find a better location in Vancouver, BC. It is less than a ten-minute walk to Stanley Park where you can explore on 27 kilometers of trails that take you through dense forests, past lakes and lagoons, inviting restaurants, breathtaking views and a world-class aquarium.

If you enjoy walking, we would also recommend the trail that follows Coal Harbour to Canada Place, the Sea Wall trail that encircles Stanley Park and the Sea Wall along Sunset Beach and English Bay where you can board a water ferry to Vanier Park or Granville Island, a must see.

Another thing we like about this place that other reviewers also mentioned is the shopping and dining. I counted 16 restaurants within a one -block radius of Alberni and Bidwell as well as two major groceries stores (Safeway and Whole Foods). Robson Street is a major shopping district as well as Denman Street.

The parking space that comes with the condo is best suited for a compact car. We arrived in a minivan and had difficulty maneuvering the car into the parking space, a small secure enclosed space with a garage door opener. After parking, we never drove again until we left a month later.

The #19 bus is a two-minute walk away and takes you to the Waterfront Station where you can transfer to other lines including the Sky Train and Sea Bus to North Vancouver. There is another bus stop outside the door with multiple buses that go downtown on Georgia Street. Robson Street also has a bus line that goes downtown. I am a world traveler and Vancouver BC has the friendliest bus drivers in the world, bar none. When living here, you don’t need a car!

There is a 7-Eleven on Robson Street where you can buy a discounted booklet of 10 transit tickets. A 90-minute ticket is only $2.75 or $1.75 for seniors. You can also pay your fare when boarding the bus.

Disappointed there was no table to dine at. Not very pleasant sitting eating by the cooker hob. Problems with the dish washer which were not resolved during the four weeks of our stay.
