My wife Rose, was born and raised in Vancouver. She is currently a special education teacher. I have lived in Vancouver for over 40 years and am retired. We live locally.

We love the vibrancy of downtown! Our condo is in a great location to explore the city, without the need for a car. We bought into this high rise because we have always admired this building.

There is a view of English Bay, the mountains of Vancouver Island and the city. It is only moments to all the attractions of downtown Vancouver. This condo is conveniently located to Skytrain, which can take you to and from the Vancouver International airport.

JUST FANTASTIC!!!!

We arrived late (~10pm) and have never used VRBO before. Although communication with Alan was consistent and frequent I was a little un-nerved about our delays on arrival. Alan was there waiting for us with a smile and warm handshake. We were immediately at ease and were provided a great tour of the unit as well as the entire facility. We were truly amazed at how many staff at restaurants/shops knew of where we were staying and the significance of the building. It is perfectly located for walks to anywhere (if walking to Granville island take Hornby St. to the aqua taxi, it is significantly shorter than Brurrard St)

Favorite restaurant: Coast (sadly, replacing Joe Fortes due to service issues at the later).
Stanley park was a great walk.
Take the sky train and see Queen Elizabeth park. And although somewhat expensive have a lunch at Seasons restaurant (most incredible view)!

Alan thank you so much for remembering my wife's birthday! We hope to see you again soon.

EXCELLENT CENTRAL POSITION

Alan's apartment is centrally located and so easy to get to all of the main tourist attractions, in easy walkable distance. The apartment is as it looks, very cosy and kitchen is equipped with all you need for self catering. Marketplace IGA is just over the road for grocery items. Highly recommend to eat at Joe Fortes in Thurlow St, excellent seafood! Thanks Alan, it was a great stay and will recommend to others!

THE BEST CHOICE FOR TWO PERSONS !

This condo is a " what you see is what you get " . Very convenient for two persons . Excellent localization . It is possible to walk from this very clean building to almost all Vancouver attractions . The owner , Alan , was very helpful and is a real gentleman . Lot of information in the condo itself provided by Alan . The condo is luminous . The view on English Bay is fantastic ! The kitchen is well equipped . We are planning already to rent this condo again and we recommend it without any hesitation .

GEM OF A PLACE

The location of the condo is great- close to everything in the downtown core of the city and to bus routes and the skytrain - made it really easy to get around. There is a good market in the next block, restaurants and coffeeshops - very handy. The place was clean, very comfortable and had everything I needed to make my stay a home away from home. The picture windows are great - I really enjoyed the evening skies changing colours!
The owners were kind and courteous - and went out of their way to make my welcome a memorable one -by honouring my sister's request to have a bottle of specialty BC wine waiting for me when I arrived! Thank you Alan!

I can’t say enough great things about Alan and the apartment. The location was absolutely perfect and the pictures on the website don’t do justice for the view. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have needed. Alan was amazing. He met us at midnight because our flight was late getting in, and still took time to suggest places to eat and things to do in the city. He even drove over to the apartment late one night after we misplaced our keys, and saved us from a potential trip-ruining situation. This place was everything we could have hoped for and so much more. Thanks Alan!

WONDERFUL VIEW, TERRIFIC OWNER, AND WELL EQUIPPED APARTMENT

I stayed at this apartment from Dec 31 2013 o Feb 21 2014 and was extremely happy with everything from location to view to amenities. Alan was very easy to deal with and very helpful, although to be honest I did not need him for much as all was well taken care of. The apartment was very well maintained and as clean as the most critical guests would want. Nice quality linens and towels. Little extras provided from cleaning supplies to special cooking equipment. A quiet apartment, comfortable bed, and I slept very well.
Location is wonderful for any dining, at any level from an extravagant special evening ( Le Crocodile, Don Francesco, Joe Fortes all nearby, not to mention many high end hotels all quite walkable.) In addition modest yet excellent cafes and bistros on Granville and Davie St. Or good markets for home cooking. excellent shopping along Robson and elsewhere, Vancouver Art Gallery very close ( excellent cafe there too). We walked to theatre as well.
In our case we were here to visit a family member at St Pauls Hospital which is exceptionally close. Though we did not use it, there is a bus stop in front of the building. Sky Train minutes away. Gastown, Yaletown, Granville Island all walkable distances.
I wondered how I would find shared washers and dryers but it worked very well and in fact I could do 2 washes at once if need be since there were 4 machines for the floor and they were rarely in use. While I did not use the other facilities (gym and lounge etc) they were all attractive and well maintained. Building is limited access by key fob and so is each residential floor. Very safe and secure. Attached conveniently to a bank.
We plan to book again for family visits and holidays. Lights in area most attractive at Christmas time!
