The house is located in a small complex on the most beautiful beaches of West Peloponnes in an exposed cliff location by the sea (120 m above sea level) in the middle of a diverse landscape whose appearance is characterized by cypresses, olive groves, bushes & citrus and orange gardens. The property has a size of 12600 m² and is designed like a garden with olive trees, pines, oleanders, hibiscus, bushes and flowers. Since the house is on the sea side of the hill, you will have a stunning view of the sea and in the distance of the islands of Zakynthos and Kefallonia. The house has 3.5 rooms, 115 m² of living space including terraces. At the foot of the holiday complex you will find a kilometre long beach, called Golden Beach, with dunes forested with pines and a crystal clear sea. 2 km away is the picturesque city of Kastron with its impressive medieval castle.

The house is located 2 km from the city of Kastro-Kyllini, historical old city with a large castle, 800 m from the nearby beach made of the finest sand and 2 km to Loutra Kyllini, the famous resort. To the harbour Kyllini it is about 4 km, from there you can take daily ferries to Zakynthos and Kefallonia. Olympia is about 40 km away, a lot of other antique cultural sites can also be reached for day excursions, like Vasse, Sparta, Mistra, Epidavros, Mykene, Korinth, Athens and Delfi. The harbour city of Patras can be reached in 1 hour.

  • The rental prices are valid for a booking of the house with 4 people. If the number of people increases, there will be a € 10 surcharge per person/night. If the number of people decreases, the rental price decreases by € 10 per person/night. *Attention Pentecost holiday 2010: here the rental price for 2 or 3 people is € 100 per night/house.
  • The minimum stay in our holiday home is 7 days. During the peak season, the minimum rental length is 14 days. Please speak to us for deviations from the stay periods.
  • Our discount for children: 1 child up to 6 years of age stays free. 2 children under 6 years count as 1 person. Our early booking discount is 5% for a booking until 31.01.2010.

  • Rest and relaxation can be found in the 2 bedrooms. Parquet floors, built-in wall cabinets made of natural wood, nice commodes and a table with a mirror makes each of these rooms seem welcoming. The gallery room can be reached through a wood staircase and has 2 beds - especially loved by children as a 'game, reading and sleeping cave'.

Notes: The villa was built in a Greek cottage style, is tastefully and nicely furnished and was renovated multiple times. Living/dining room with open fireplace and precious natural stone floors. Always shaded and softly touched by wind, the 30 m² large covered terrace with its panorama view. Particularly impressive is how you can almost daily experience how the last part of the sun sinks into the horizon into the sea before the grandiose scenery of the visible island mountains.

Owner's Response: Diese Bewertung entspricht dem Empfinden all unserer Kunden, die sich in ähnlicher Weise äußern, wie z.B. eine wunderbare Anlage abseits der großen touristischen Ströme, eingebettet in großartiger Landschaft mit traumhaftem Blick nach allen Seiten, dem herrlichen Meer, einfach Griechenland pur, so wie aus dem Bilderbuch... alles ist prima hier, das Grundstück, der Blick, das Haus, die Leute, es ist alles mehr, als wir erwartet haben... keine Hektik und Stress, nur Ruhe und Erholung... ein Ort, an dem man wirklich die Seele "baumeln" lassen kann... der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer ist traumhaft! Einfach dasitzen und schauen...
