Great for enjoying Giardini beach and Taormina

My wife and I spent a week here in early September and we really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment is ideally located for spending time at the beach in Giardini Naxos. Just downstairs from the apartment is located the free public beach as well as two nice Lidos which offer full services for spending a perfect day at the beach (long chair and parasol rental, snack and drinks bar, full service sit down restaurants, etc...). We particularly enjoyed the Romantika Lido and its restaurant where we had lunch a few times while at the beach (great pizzas and pastas).


One of the great features of this apartment is a large terrace from which you can enjoy superb views of the Bay of Naxos, the beach, as well as Taormina and Castelmola which are perched up on a hill to the left. The terrace is reserved for private use of the apartment and is well equipped with sun chairs, parasol, and a dining table and chairs. This is a great place to lounge around or enjoy a glass of Sicilian wine or a nice meal.

The owner and his family are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The owner lives nearby and is easily reachable and promptly available.

The apartment is also well located for visiting Taormina. Just one block from the apartment there is a bus stop (Interbus) where a bus passes every 30 minutes and takes you to Taormina in about 15 minutes. Lots of days excursions are also available from the travel agency located just downstairs from the apartment.

The apartment's decoration and furnishings are simple. However, the apartment is cosy and convenient. It is equipped with a clothes washer, dishwasher, fridge and fully functional kitchen with gas oven, cookware and dishware.

Within walking distance of the apartment there are many fine restaurants located along the 'LungoMare'. Also close to the apartment are two minimarkets as well as a fish market. The fish market (La Pescheria) has a take-out counter where you can order cooked fish and seafood which they will prepare for you. This is a great way to prepare an easy meal which you can enjoy on the outdoor terrace!

Top quality accommodation in Giardini Naxos.

My wife and I booked this apartment for 8 nights in early June. We were delighted with the apartment in every way. It is located right in the centre of the Giardini Naxos resort. It was very clean, clearly well tended, and had all mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine and a large number of good quality towels. It boasts a large terrace overlooking the beach and bay with stunning views of Giardini Naxos and Taormina perched on the hills to the north. It also has a second terrace overlooking the street behind the apartment. The owner was very friendly and available to help at all times. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who desires easy access to an excellent beach and a selection of restaurants and shops. Taormina is easily accessible by car or bus.
