1st floor one bedroomed apt , Suitable for 3 people,

The property is spacious, fresh, clean and tidy with modern decor. The sitting area is ample for up to 5 people with a cosy dining area. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and has comfortable twin beds. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you would have at home including a dishwasher, microwave and toastie maker. The family bathroom has a bath with shower, also a bidet and has plenty of storage space for your family toiletries. The balcony has a table and 4 chairs for alfresco dining along with 2 relaxer chairs, the balcony is accessed from the living room and the bedroom.

There are well maintained, pretty gardens surrounding the property, the complex is gated and has a secure entry system, the pool area has a life guard throughout the summer.

The Algarve and Alvor: The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quietens down in the dead of winter. The wonderful sandy beaches of the Algarve are unspoilt and amongst the finest in the world. Away from the tourist hub, explore the quaint unspoilt villages with their narrow cobbled streets, the Ria de Alvor, the majestic Serra de Monchique or the rugged beauty of the South Westerly tip of Europe, Sagres and Cape St Vincent. Water sports such as swimming, snorkelling and big-game fishing are popular along the Algarve coast, as are boat trips exploring the caves and grottos. Several water parks and theme parks will ensure that the children never get bored.

Local food: Local markets sell an abundance of goods at bargain prices. Restaurants and bars vie for business and the food is delicious and served in huge quantities. Most restaurants have charcoal grills,

If you choose to dine within the apartment there are several larger supermarkets close to Alvor where you can easily purchase family provisions at reasonable prices.

Alvor is a delightful old fishing village with whitewashed houses, its narrow streets running down to the water's edge where the fishing boats are moored and with lovely views over the sea and Alvor estuary. The village remains a place where you can watch the fishermen bring in their catch down at the old quay, but it has grown to accommodate tourists, with a new promenade, beach front cafes and restaurants and sports and swimming complex. Alvor gives you the opportunity to enjoy the charm of old Portugal along with fine beaches, good shopping, plenty of both Portuguese foreign bars and restaurants. The apartment is set in a fabulous location, just a five minute stroll from the harbour, town centre and the beach which can be easily reached across the sand dunes.

The heady nightlife of Praia da Rocha and the excellent shopping in Portimão are just a short bus ride or taxi cab away,excursions are available in abundance to book locally.

Golf: Some of the best Golf Courses in the Algarve are within 3 kms of Alvor :- The 'Penina' Course is Sir Henry Cotton´s masterpiece, and the 'Alto Golf' Course also of the same architect boasts the longest par 5 in Europe. Many other great Golf Courses are within easy reach of Alvor, with the A22 reaching across the Algarve.

The cost also includes being met at the apartment on arrival by our representative who will show you into the apartment and answer any questions you may have.Arrival at the apartment is after 1400hrs and departure from the apartment at 1000hrs, this can be altered to suit depending on surrounding bookings....
    Transfer to and from the airport can be arranged by the owner, this must be paid locally.
  • Longer winter rentals are welcomed between October and March..A discount will be offered to stays of more than 3 weeks during winter.

This is a pretty, bright and spacious one bedroomed first floor property. There is a large entrance hallway leading onto a lounge with its own separate cosy dining area with seating for 4 people. There are 2 comfortable sofas,one being a double sofa bed. There are modern pictures within the living area, a coffee table & TV, DVD & games console,There are books and DVDs for various tastes and ages. There are local maps and information leaflets within the apartment. The spacious balcony can be accessed from the lounge and the bedroom. The balcony has a table and chairs for 4 people....alfresco dining is a must. There are also 2 comfy relaxer chairs. The bedroom has twin beds, bedside cabinets, reading lamps and a full length mirror with 2 power points. The family bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet & bidet, there is a vanity unit with ample room to store family toiletries. The gardens are large and well kept. There is an adults and a kids pool with a lifeguard through the summer

Great spacious apartment on beautiful complex.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 11 nights from 2/09/2012. The apartment was immaculate, spacious and extremely well kitted out with everything you could possibly need on holiday. The complex is probably the best in Alvor and is maintained to a very high standard with beautifully landscaped gardens and a swimming pool area that would be hard to beat. There were always plenty of sunbeds available and the pool area was quiet and relaxing.
The complex is situated just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant and bar areas of the old town and likewise just a short pleasant walk to fantastic long uncrowded beaches.Bliss.
Throughout the booking process and during our time in Alvor, Lynne the owner was extremely helpful and is a lovely warm friendly lady.We could not have asked for better in what was our first visit to Alvor.
We found Alvor to be a fantastic holiday destination with a great number of excellent restaurants selling beautiful fresh food at prices that embarrass UK establishments,really great value. We will certainly return again and if available would return to Lynne's apartment without hesitation.We really did not want to return home having had probably our best ever European holiday. Thank you Lynne for sharing your lovely Apartment with us. Stan & Ali .

Fab Stay In Alvor

My husband and i have just returned from a fab weeks stay in this apartment.Having been the previous 2 years to Alvor we decided after seeing this apartment on the web site and knowing exactly where this apartment was situated in Alvor, we contacted the owner, and enquired about booking for June 2012.From the first contact with Lynn (the owner) it has been an absolute pleasure.Lynn goes out of her way to help you with any questions you have and to make sure that you will have no problems.Lynn arranged for our pick up and return to airport through Jorge. His service is excellent and reliable.We would recommend his company and will use them again next visit.We were met at the entrance to the apartment complex by a very lovely lady called Trina,who took us to the apartment and went over how everything worked ,including the secure gate system for the guests.
The apartment is excellent for location to beach, harbour. bars and restaurants all within 5 mins walk away.
The apartment is a real home from home,spotlessly clean and well furnished with plenty of towels to use and a umbrella and sunbed covers to take to use by the pool.You do not need to get up early to secure a sunbed as there are are always plenty available.
The gardens in the apartment complex are immaculately kept with beautiful flowers and plants.
Staying in this apartment was a joy!
Lynns attention to details was outstanding and we will most definitely return to this apartment.We now would not consider going anywhere else!
Alvor is a relaxing holiday destination with lots of little family restaurants to eat in and the people are so nice.The best palce to go to relax and eat!!!!!!!!!!

Simply the Best

This was our first visit to Alvor and we absolutely loved it, so much as we did not want to return home.

The resort is lovely, clean and the people so friendly, the beach the shops and the lovely harbour are a 5 minute walk away so this apartment is in the perfect location.

We were there for 2 weeks and enjoyed many a good restaurant, the food was tremendous, you have to try the steak on stone and the chicken piri piri awesome. If you are looking for a good night out why not try the Cactos 2 Bar, cheap drink and great entertainment.

As for the apartment we could not fault it, clean, well maintained and very well equipped (home from home). The grounds and the swimming pool are immaculate and well looked after.

Dealing with Lynne was an absolute pleasure, very helpful and informative, roll on next year we will definitely be back

First Class Apartment

We loved this apartment in Alvor. First impressions were that it was well furnished, comfortable and clean. Lynne was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and answered all our queries. Everything went smoothly-we booked a shuttle transfer which cost £60 for 2 return. We only waited 15mins on the bus and the transfer took an hour. Phoned Trina when we reached Alvor and she arrived with the keys in 5 mins.


The beach is lovely and only 5 mins walk away as is the town with numerous lovely restaurants and a lively atmosphere in the evenings. Never any noise around the apartments though.

A large pool in well maintained gardens was never crowded and large enough for a proper swim.

We went to Slide and Splash and a Western Algarve trip, through Follow Me tours which was very enjoyable. Numerous other tours available locally.

All in all good value and superior to apartments available through Thomson etc.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

Best Holiday

We have just had our best holiday. It was our third time in Portugal but first in Alvor and definitely the best. The apartment is great for both comfort and location. The complex is brilliant with a lovely pool and beautifully maintained gardens. The beach is amazing and the town lovely,lively,with still very much Portuguese presence. We were there for two weeks without a car and not once did we wish we had one as we had planned to do not very much. The beach and town are just a few minutes walk away so location is perfect. Of course those who wish to sight-see further afield would need a car or local transport which is very good. The surrounding area of the complex is peaceful and secure and so also is the vicinity. Everywhere had a nice friendly, family orientated feel to it with young and older all enjoying the lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were met by Gary who showed us into the apartment and dealing with Lynne before and after was a pleasure. We would recommend this place to anyone and wish we could go back on the next available flight.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review Bob and Kay....,Alvor is a lovely wee place,it still has a village feel to it whilst having many restaurants and bars to frequent of an evening .If wishing to visit other areas in the Algarve there are many excursions advertised locally.Car hire can be very cheap off season but more expensive in peak season,however there really is no need to hire a car as everything you need for a relaxing holiday is right on the doorstop.Hope you have a return visit soon.Lynne
