Quiet romantic beautiful

We spent 14 wonderful days in this quiet, safe and well equipped appartment with the beautiful view. We are a freshly married couple (after living together for three years) of around 30 years of age both and spent our honeymoon there. We were looking for a time of leasure, sleeping late, sightseeing, romantic dinners in little nice local restaurants, city life, nature and sea, but also the occasional quiet dinner at home with self-cooking and just reading or a movie on the couch. In this place we found all this effortless.
Location: great
It is in the middle of the old city, looks directly on prominent Rossio place with two recommended restaurants Niccos and Cafe Suica. By foot from here you can reach remarkable sights of the city more or less accidentally as the place is such a good location for sightseeing. Metrostations and also stops of the famous line 28 right around the corner. The street itself is quiet and domestic, not a tourist bunker but a real neighbourhood with families. They hold barbecues in the street at nights, but nice and quiet and amiably really. The steps to the house sometimes needed to be taken slow after a long day of walking in the sun, but were always manageable, us both being not the overly sporty types.
Appartment itself: great
No AC, but in august, there was always a nice breeze going, and because it is quiet, the window can be left open. The living room is to the back, so it is even quieter and still ventilated.
The bed has a good matress does not squeek and we slept good and soundly, our backs did appreciate that investment of the owner, thanks again.
The showers and kitchen and overall rennovation state is really good. Everything is clean and working and new. TV-Set, CD-Soundsystem and Wifi. Cooking equipment and thoughtful little extras like an umbrella, a child-bed, lots of cleaning equipment and towels. The building manager on location, Mario was trustworthy and helpful, giving all important information and asking to call him for any questions. We did not need him though, because it is more than easy to have a nice time there.
