In a 15th century palace with unique and intriguing furniture

Inside the walls of Lucca, in an ancient building of the XV° century, we have set up a small residence with charming furnishings in order to give our guest – even if only for a couple of days - the chance to “live” the town right from the inside.

In the cosy and quiet terrace of the living area, surrounded by the greenery and unique in its kind, it’s possible to enjoy all the hours of the day from our tasty breakfasts, to late morning brunches up to dinner appetizers.

Our Locanda is inside the urban walls, in the very centre of the town, very close to the most famous ancient palaces of Lucca; in the surroundings there are many typical restaurants, Fillungo street with a lot of shops and Anfiteatro square.

Perfect Place To Stay in Lucca

Our family of four just returned from a fabulous weekend trip to Lucca. We rented the apartment that is a few blocks away from the B & B and had the best of both worlds...the independence and space that comes with an apartment rental combined with the amazing hospitality and generous breakfast at the B & B. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable for our family. It is also in a perfect location, very centrally located but very quiet. There are several flights of stairs so we would not recommend this apartment for someone with mobility issues.

The family who runs Locanda Sant’Agostino is extremely helpful and friendly. We'd also recommend trying one of the restaurants they own in town. Our lunch at Osteria del La Manza was delightful. Although we didn't stay at the B&B, we had the chance to peek into one of the guests rooms and it was beautiful. It would be a great little romantic get-away. Lucca and Locando Sant'Agostino thoroughly charmed us and we can't wait to return!
