Situated in the very heart of Split, Croatia, Villa Varos is just a few minutes walk from Split's waterfront promenade. With a 4 star rating, the apartment is fully furnished with top quality fittings and appliances, is air-conditioned, safe & secure, and boasts a large private patio (12m2).

The apartment is newly refurbished and the accommodation boasts a large double bedroom, a large twin bedroom and there is also the possibility of sleeping two on the sofa couch in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher and oven.

Varos Tom is a great four star apartment located in the centre of Split. Just a minutes' walk from Marmontova (the main shopping street in Split), the apartment is also close to the numerous bars, restaurants and architectural treasures that make a stay in Split so unique. The apartment is officially rated as 4 stars by the Croatian Tourism Board. As you enter you are greeted by the dining and kitchen area which is fully equipped with all mod cons including dishwasher and washing machine. The living area contains a large comfortable corner sofa and 42' Plasma TV. The sofa also turns into a bed that can sleep two people. The master bedroom is downstairs, beside the bathroom and shower, and contains a large double bed and wardrobes to hang your clothes. Upstairs, you will find a spacious second bedroom that contains two single beds. The apartment also has access to a beautiful patio which allows you to enjoy the Split atmosphere while you have some lunch or read a book.

Varos is a beautiful little area located located in the heart of Split. The apartment is one minutes walk to all of Split's most popular tourist attractions such as Diocletian's Palace and the wonderful Split 'Riva'. Despite the great location, the apartment is still secluded enough so you are away from the hustle and bustle of this beautiful city.

Naturally the apartment is close to all amenities with a host of restaurants, bars and cafes within a very short walking distance. There is also easy access to the local transport links which include buses to the airport and ferries to the numerous beautiful Dalmatian islands. There is also a choice of two beaches within the area or you may prefer a stroll up the magnificent Marjan hill which provides breathtaking views of Split and the islands.

Lovely house in the walking district of Split

We stayed in this house for three months from January through March. Not the typical time for visiting Split, but we found this home to be well furnished and comfortable for our time. It is located a few blocks from the Riva (main walk along the sea lined with outdoor cafes) and is in the pedestrian district. Great location. Lovely old house refinished in a modern style. Steps from The best pizza bistro in Split, Galeja pizza. The owner responded promptly to emails and questions, he was great. We sucessfully used the heat during our stay, but I can't comment on the AC as we didn't use it. The small water tank for the shower was less than ideal, but this is common for some parts of Europe. There is limited dishes and utensils and the bedroom upstairs does not have a door FYI, but it is private enough. All in all a great price and great spot for us. I would reccomend it to others.

Four of us recently spent two nights in this well-located apartment, which has obviously very recently been totally renovated. The apartment is very clean and well-equipped and the air conditioning is very welcome, given the hot summer weather. The terrace is not covered and is shared with the other occupants of the building, and we did not use it as the weather was too hot to sit out there. This is a very good spot to spend some time in this lively, busy and lovely city.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

Great apartment, great location, great city and most of all great value. No problem recommending it to friends.
