Dogpatch Apartment Rental Photos and Description

2 Queen Bdrms; 1 Bath; + Oversized Queen Daybed; Gourmet Kitchen; Garden Seating

The stylish flat features two immaculately maintained queen bedrooms, one bath, a living room with gas fireplace, and a well equipped gourmet eat-in kitchen. A high quality queen daybed sleeps two extra guests comfortably. Our large dining table seats 6-8 guests. The communal garden and brick patio space is perfect for special gatherings and celebrations--wonderful for post-sightseeing barbeques.

About the neighborhood:

The Jacobsen House is located in the sunny Dogpatch neighborhood on the South Eastern bay side of San Francisco.

Just south of downtown San Francisco, the Dogpatch neighborhood offers easy access to multiple attractions. Public transportation is available via the 3rd street rail line, the 48 and 22 bus lines, and the Cal Train commuter rail service--all within two blocks of the apartment.

There is a wonderful cafe nearby if you crave a cappuccino, and six renown restaurants within two blocks. Just up Potrero Hill, there are more restaurants and local shopping.

Notably, this area typically escapes the foggy marine layer that moves into the northerly and westerly San Francisco neighborhoods each afternoon.

Our stay at the Jacobsen house was absolutely wonderful!! An oasis in the city. The property itself is as beautiful as it is represented in the photos and the location was terrific. You enter the home and are immediately impressed by the space. It is light and bright with modern furnishings and beautiful architectural details. The home has lovely hardwood floors, 9' ceilings, wide hallways and a spacious vibe. The furnishings and bedding are modern and comfortable and the kitchen and bath have been beautifully remodeled. We found the Jacobsen house to be a wonderful place to rest and relax after a busy day of activity downtown. Parking was manageable and the neighborhood was hip and fun without being chaotic. We could grab a quick coffee across the street in the morning, had an amazing brunch at the Serpentine just a few blocks down and hope to have dinner at Piccini next time we visit. The owners were quick to respond and helpful through all phases of the reservation process. All in all, it couldn't have been a nicer experience. We hope to have an opportunity to visit again in the not too distant future:)

Perfect cosy place! Feel like in home

We were in this apartment with our four kids in the beginning of March of 2014 during a week. After 18 hours of the flight from Europe we were tired and sleepy, but we found cosy place with cheerful owners, and clear rooms. Kids loved that mini-garden on the back yard, real fire in the chimney. The location is very good also - very calm in the night, in few blocks from freeways. Just 15 minutes to downtown, good coffeehouse over the street, and few restaurants in the nearest couple of blocks' distance. I would recommend this place to families with kids, as well as party travelers. Thank you Heidi for your cosy apartment :)

We arrived to SF in March 4, 2014 - me, my wife and our 4 kids - to stay a week there in San Francisco. Those, who are traveling with kids, will perfect understand me: it's not easy to find a good place to stay with kids. This apartment is perfect place for family with kids travelers. We got a feeling like we are in home there. very good place, very good location, cheerful and diligent owners Heidi and Ari. There is everything you used to have in home, and even more. Kids loved small garden in the back yard. Apartment is cosy, very good location in the city. We definitely would recommend this apartment to everybody, especially to family with kids. Thank you Heidi :)

Best HomeAway we've ever stayed in

Best HomeAway we've ever stayed in

This is the best HomeAway we've ever stayed in. It was pristinely clean, elegantly decorated, and well-equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had many amenities (including a food processor!), and the shower was awesome. The owners are friendly and detail-oriented. We stayed with 4 adults and a baby, and had plenty of space to sleep, eat, cook, and relax together. The neighborhood is fantastic (make sure to eat at Just for You), and it was easy to park and get to other neighborhoods. We could not have asked for a better stay!

My husband and I surprised our four teenage children with a trip to San Francisco and as always we chose a VRBO home to stay in -we've always had excellent results from choosing VRBO. And this cozy apartment was no exception!! The owners were very helpful and made the check-in/check-out process very simple. They had recommendations for places to eat and places to go as well. Our kids loved the idea of "living in the city" for a few days! The apartment was just as described on the website -cozy, clean, modern, and a nice change of pace for families like ours who are used to country living! We would definitely recommend this vacation apartment to others and stay again the next time we travel to San Francisco!!

Historic Victorian located in the fashionable micro-neighborhood of Dogpatch. Situated on the sunny, San Francisco Bay side of Potrero Hill, Dogpach grew from the need for industrial worker housing in the late 19th century. Two blocks from the waterfront, Dogpatch is now the home of San Francisco's Museum of Craft and Design and acclaimed restaurants and bars, including: Michael Ricchuti's Chocolate Lab and Little Nib, highly rated Piccino Cafe, Yield Wine Bar, Serpentine. Notably, Dogpatch is the center of San Francisco's burgeoning craft economy. Coined an 'urban laboratory,' Dogpatch has retained its industrial roots--housing numerous makers, designers, and small manufacturing suites.
