Joseph and Rebecca have lived in Maine for seven years. We love Maine and will gladly share our knowledge of the area during a stay at our home.
Joseph works for a non profit, The Downeast Salmon Federation or DSF, focusing on the restoration of endangered Gulf of Maine Atlantic salmon. Joseph is a field biologist who concentrates on habitat improvement and river stability.
Joseph also produces homemade jams and BBQ sauces sold at his local stand.
Rebecca is a landscape manager working on Mount Desert Island with a focus on native plants and flower gardens.
The two of us love to garden. We have been growing large quantities of garlic and currently have thirty five varieties on the property.
Please feel free to ask us any questions about the property. Our goal is to create a welcome environment for you to enjoy.
This property is a classic. Built in 1860, the house still holds many of its unique qualities of the past. Its curved plaster walls, stained glass windows and fine wood trim work welcome you. The three covered porches prompt you to relax outside and enjoy a glorious Maine sunset with your ocean view of Union River Bay.
The property has a fenced in portion of yard that the pets of our guest are welcome to use.
