Our family has vacationed on this lake since we were kids and now we bring our kids here. This home provides ample living space. We have three kids and also brought my in-laws. The home is nicely kept. Attention to detail is evident. We all had a feeling of being "at home" here….like this was all ours. The restaurant and beach down the street were perfect. We found beach chairs in the shed next to the garage and there were beach towels in the closet for us. We spent a lot of time by the water. The kids loved jumping off the dock with the others. We rented a boat at a marina that was about a 5 minute drive away for the day and had a really good time. Coming back to this home after a day on the water is perfect. It’s comfortable. I even got a chance to nap in the back yard on a lawn chair. I started a fire on the back patio and we all prepared our dinners. The grill worked great also. It was a oldie but goodie. We took a short walk into town and got ice cream and visited a small café one of the mornings for breakfast. The food was great. We are certainly coming back next year. These memories are just what we were looking for. Thank you. Hope you like the picture that our daughter drew for you.
In its day this place was probably very nice, most likely the best home in the area. But over the years it still has its nice features but many features don't work properly. All bathroom faucets dripped. The downstairs shower was out of service. The main bath toilet kept running. You must wash and dry your own towels and sheets, as per one of the many RULES. However there was no laundry soap or softener. No bar soap in the bathrooms. The owner lives in a RV right behind the house so you feel they are watching you. Tight restrictions on the number of visitors. No trash bags provided and no recycle information available. Oh, don't forget to take off your shoes when you enter the house, bedrooms or the musty basement. Rules, you know...
