Holmes Beach, a part of Anna Maria Island, an island between Tampa and Sarasota (Gulf of Mexico). With its clear smaragd water and the sun-bleached beaches, this island is a 'gem' for families with small children and people who are looking for real recreation. The 10 kilometers long beaches invite you for walks, searching for shells or only swimming, diving or sun-bathing. The daily 'sun downer' will stay in your mind forever! The beach is only a 3 minutes stroll away from the condo. A supermarket and the island shopping center with small shops and restaurants are also close by.. Just in front of the building is one stop of the Island-Trolley, small busses going north and southbound (without any charge) but with more than 30 stops, where you can stop and restart your ride again. The famous tennis-academy of Nick Bollettieri is only 5 miles away in NW-Bradenton. A lot of golf-courses are spread over the island or on the mainland (Bradenton). Why waiting - the paradise is open!

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (6 und 8 Jahre) in dieser Wohnung und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht (und sogar noch mehr) und das in einer kleinen Wohnanlage mit tollem Pool und einem traumhaften Strand fast vor der Haustüre. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gepflegt und die Vermieterin sehr nett, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Im Vorfeld bekommt man schon umfangreiches Infomaterial, so dass der Urlaub gleich losgehen kann. Auch unsere Kinder waren begeistert von Wohnung und Insel und das war hoffentlich nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in Sandy Pointe II !
