An 'Old Whitefish' home, newly renovated, still with its original charm and a view of Whitefish Mountain and city beach at the foot of Whitefish Lake or Central Ave only a short walk away. The Railway district is in the heart of Whitefish, in a lazy and quiet little neighborhood convenient to just about everything. Feel like you are part of the neighborhood while you are enjoying you are grilling in the back yard. See the town like a local, as a pedestrian, living right downtown.

The location is just one block to Whitefish hotspots such as Mambo's, Loulas, Pescado Blanco, Swift Creek Cafe, 2nd Steet Pizza, The White room Ski Shop, Glacier Cyclery, and just 2 blocks to Central Ave., the Farmer's Market, Gallery Nights, the SNOW bus pick up and two of Whitefish's best parks on the Whitefish River. It is also located just down the street from Whitefish Lake Golf Club, which also offers cross country skiing in the winter, and The Wave Fitness Center. Hop on your bike and it's just a short ride on the bike path along Whitefish River to City Beach at Whitefish Lake. I moved to Whitefish on a whim 3 years ago and fell in love with the area. I have bought property in the Railway District to fix up the existing structure and to help the revitalization of our neighborhood.

Why Maggie Lin chose Whitefish

This is an old Whitefish home built in 1918 in the Railway District of downtown Whitefish. A cute house to begin with and is being updated and opened up to a more modern feel. We lovingly named it The Hobbit House because of how small all the rooms were was when we bought it. Now we made it so you don't have to duck through doorways! We have opened up the house and allowed its charm to shine through.

A hidden gem

We loved this adorable little home and it was perfect for what we needed! It comfortably accommodated 2 adult couples. The home was well equipped with everything we needed (lots of towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.) and was clean. The smaller bed was definitely small, but my husband and I slept fine on it (neither of us are very big). It was really nice having separate bedrooms and a full kitchen. The home is located within walking distance to everything we wanted to go to and the street it is on is quiet. I would hesitate to recommend this simply because I don't want anyone else to find out about this perfect little house! The owner is lovely and I have no complaints. Thank you for a wonderful mountain vacation!

Location, Location...

This cozy little house was all we could ask for and more. Clean and inviting for us. It is a few blocks from all the downtown action, but located on a quiet side street. There was a place to park my truck, a nice back deck, and everything else we could ask for in that very affordable price range. Comfy bed, lots of clean linens, nice kitchen utensils. Owner was responsive to our requests. Our local Whitefish friends are going to book this when their family comes to town, and we definitely plan to stay there again when we return to Whitefish! Thank You.

This is a cute house with a great location. That being said I'm not sure where the cleaning fee goes??? We were greeted with dirty sheets, someone else's garbage, old coffee grounds in the coffee maker and a lot of dust and dirty surfaces. The back door lock is feeble at best and requires some finesse to be locked. The garbage and recycling out front was so full that every time I went to my car I gagged with the smell. The kitchen is pretty much bare bones, one pearing knife we all shared to eat our steak dinner, no vegetable peeler no strainer no scissors exct...

Even after all this I could have let it go as the location is so great, how ever I left the renter 3 messages in regaurds to help with the tv and wifi and have yet to hear back clearly she couldn't care less, her loss as I would have booked for 2 weeks next summer if I felt she was avaliable or willing to address ANYTHING!

Owner's Response: There was a mixup on the check in dates. I refunded my renter the night she had to stay in a dirty house as well as the cleaning fee she was charged. I am sorry to hear this was insufficient.
