|Minimum Stay||2 - 4 nights|
Views of mountains and Lake Coeur d'Alene right out your window? A prime perch for local celebrations? Mere steps from downtown shops and restaurants?
You can have it all with this modern and airy, yet somehow cozy, two bedroom, two bathroom condo with two separate outdoor spaces. It is THE best way to experience all that downtown Coeur d'Alene has to offer and provides a fantastic jumping point for the year-round outdoor activities this prime location has to offer. Located in a minimalist brick and concrete building, the condo is quiet and peaceful - even though you're right in the middle of it all. It's your own personal urban oasis.
The entry to this fifth floor condo is via elevator and there is only one other unit on the floor. Once inside the door to the unit, there is a sleekly designed office space with wireless internet connection if you need to get some work done (or just want to telecommute for an hour or two before your vacation officially starts).
Continuing further inside, you will note the ten foot tall ceilings and the hardwood flooring throughout the open concept living and dining rooms. A glass dining table seats four, and continues into the open, modern kitchen. Play the star chef with custom concrete counters, stainless steel restaurant-quality appliances, with a wine cooler, gas stove, dishwasher, and separate warming oven and microwave all at your disposal. Contemporary hanging pendant lights provide extra brightness for any culinary experiment you may want to try. The large island has counter seating for four and the space is ideal for entertaining.
The living room is tastefully decorated with contemporary leather furniture and coffee tables; you won't have any trouble finding a comfortable spot to put your feet up. Spend the evenings in front of the gas fireplace listening to music, or watch a DVD on the large, wall-mounted flatscreen TV.
From the living room, you have a great view out the floor-to-ceiling wall of windows. Glass doors lead out to the huge private balcony that offers amazing views of downtown, as well as Tubbs Hill, Lake Coeur d'Alene, and the mountains in the distance. Stylish patio furniture ensures your comfort while you view the city happenings and the natural beauty beyond.
Off the kitchen and living area is the entry to the master bedroom and full bath. In the bedroom there is a queen platform bed, gas fireplace, and another entry out onto the balcony. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide dramatic views even from bed. Custom shades lower easily if you want to sleep late. There is a walk-in closet and attached master bath. Double vanity with custom counters, large separate shower, and spa tub add to the retreat. There is a second bedroom with another queen-size bed. This bedroom has direct access to another large bathroom with double vanity and a large glass shower. A second entrance to the bathroom from the living area allows guests easy access without going through a bedroom. Overall, the two bedrooms and two full baths in this custom downtown condo accommodate four guests in modern luxury.
There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer and a separate sink. Closets and cupboards are plentiful 2013 never a problem with storage. Other amenities include cable TV and Internet. This unit also includes private, secured garage parking for one vehicle. An extra outdoor balcony space in the back of the building provides more outdoor seating. This area is shared with the other 5th floor condo unit.
This amazing condo has a walk score 201D of 85/100. It is literally steps (300ft or less) from multiple restaurants, groceries, and a bakery/coffee shop. Downtown Coeur d'Alene has much to offer: check out the renowned restaurants, watering holes, and upscale shopping. May through September, the Kootenai County Farmers' Market is located a block and a half away, so be sure to pick up some fresh vegetables for that evening's dinner. There are so many community events; check out Car D'Lane, Art on the Green, or the Blues Festival. And don't forget, Coeur d'Alene is a mecca for triathletes.
Even though you are in the heart of downtown, outdoor activities are plenty. Think boating, fishing, running, biking, hiking, golfing, and water skiing in the summer. The Centennial trail is a block and a half from the condo. This multi-use recreational trail meanders for 24 miles from Higgens Point on Lake Coeur d'Alene to the Washington State Line. Or you can spend the afternoon out on Lake Coeur d'Alene on a panoramic lake cruise. World class golf is available at The Coeur d'Alene Resort, which Golf Digest recently called "America's Most Beautiful Resort Golf Course."
There are two boat launches in less than a half mile. Independence Point has a beach area too, perfect

My only regret is that I didn't get to spend much time here. We were in town for a graduation at Gonzaga in Spokane and spent almost the entire time over there. We plan to come back so we can actually enjoy the area and the condo more!!
The condo and facility were very nice.
Because there was a huge problem with the in building parking, I would not recommend this unit to a friend. The position of the parking place and the fact that the lift was down made parking very difficult. We parked on the street and walked to the condo. If the lift was up it would still be difficult to park but much easier.
Super location, very secure, top of the line amenities....inside is very private with 2 guest suites. Awesome views from private patio. Walking distance to everything...love this place and highly recommend it-we'll be back!!
This condo was exactly like the pictures; very clean, and in a great location. Being on Sherman Avenue which is the Main Street, made walking downtown very convenient. We appreciated that this unit was equipped with the necessary household products, including shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent which saved a shopping trip. The Main Deck facing Downtown and the Lake, had comfortable furniture to relax in, so each afternoon we were able to watch the sunset. The kitchen was equipped with every appliance needed and is certainly gourmet. The 2 bedrooms, each with its lovely bathroom, are on opposite ends of this condo affording lots of privacy and quiet. The building is secure and quiet. The only thing missing is WIFI. The underground parking spot is in a confined space making manoeuvring into it a little challenging, especially with a larger vehicle. A fun restaurant to visit is Capones, about 6 blocks away. If you want an elegant dinner make sure you visit the Cedars Floating Restaurant, for fantastic seafood. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions. We certainly enjoyed our stay and recommend this unit.
