Ideal house for several families, school classes, groups and organizations, who want to go on a vacation together. The self catering house offers you the possibility to organize your day the way you want to. The high quality kitchen with dish washer enables the fast and uncomplicated cooking and cleaning. In the living room, by the fire, you can have nice conversations or just relax. The rooms are large, partially with their own bathrooms. There is a hobby room, a sauna and a fitness room in the house. TV is available. Finkenried means vacation with friends. This is a wonderful, old farmhouse, in the middle of woods. It is self standing and has views upon the fields and the woods. All the rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and large. The tiled stove in the living room creates a nice atmosphere. The open kitchen and the large dining room offer enough possibilities for you to come in touch with the other guests. TV is available.

Schlossau is located on a cliff in the middle of the Bavarian Wood, surrounded by woods and crossed by the river 'Schlossauer Ohe', which meanders around the cliff. The property offers the ideal combination of peace and relaxation, with many leisure activities within close vicinity. The Sun house is the central building on the estate, Finkenried is an isolated farm, self standing and surrounded by woods. You can hike, jog, and bike. You are also allowed to fish and haunt on the property. In the winter, you can play curling stone, skate or enjoy the landscape from a sleigh. The skiing regions 'Rusel' or 'Geisskopf' are only 15 minutes away and offer the Alpine skiers many slopes with different levels of difficulty. Cross-country skiing on well-marked cross-country runs is also possible on 'Rusel' or in Bischofsmais, a beautiful Lower Bavarian town, 10 minutes away. On 'Arber' and on Bretterschachten, there are further fantastic skiing possibilities.

  • Per person and per night: 18 Euro; per child under the age of 6 per night: 10 Euro. The minimal price for the house and per night is 300 Euro. The final cleaning is 100 Euro. If you have a dog, we will charge 6 Euro per night. The visitor’s tax is 1.30 Euro per adult and per night and 0.50 Euro per child between the age of 6-16 and per night.
  • The linen made of 3 parts and the towels can be brought from home, or rented for 10 Euro per person. Cots can be ordered, upon request (for 10 Euro).
  • The payment should take place after the booking confirmation. The balance has to be paid 10 day before the arrival.

Wir haben Anfang September ein verlängertes Wochenende mit einer Gruppe von Freunden im Sonnenhaus gemacht. Das Haus war dafür einfach perfekt! Als Highlights seien nur das eindrucksvolle Kaminzimmer, das "Backhaus" zum Grillen direkt vor der Tür und die Küche, in der einfach alles da ist, genannt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns im Forstgut sehr wohlgefühlt.

Forstgut bei Regen, Sonnenhaus

Das gute Gefühl, welches sich bei der Online-Auswahl des Forstguts bei uns einstellte, wurde schon beim ersten Telefonat mit dem Vermieter bestätigt.
Vor Ort erfolgte dann eine wirklich unkomplizierte, zurückhaltende und faire Betreuung.
Die Räumlichkeiten, insbesondere auch die Küche, waren für die größere Familienfeier perfekt geeignet.
Owner's Response: Wir freuen uns, dass das Forstgut mit dem Sonnenhaus den richtigen Rahmen für eine schöne Familienfeier. Dies ist unser Ziel und da wir selber als Großfamiile im Forstgut leben, freut es uns besonders, wenn wir immer wieder solche Familien auch bei uns haben.
