|Minimum Stay||2 - 4 nights|
This updated two-bedroom condo offers epic mountain views and an unbelievable location in the heart of Squaw Valley!
Walk to the ski lifts in the winter, or curl up by the fireplace and watch pro skiers jump off the fingers of KT-22 from the comfort of your living room. In the summer, you're just steps from the Shirley Canyon hiking trail and just across the street from lively restaurants and wine bars in the Village.
The condo is the perfect size for a romantic weekend or family getaway, cozy enough for two but spacious enough for up to five guests. In the great room, settle in before the handsome river rock fireplace on the sectional sofa, or perch on the cushioned window seat with a good book and a view of the mountain. There's a TV with cable and Blu-Ray for movie nights, plus iPod docks in each room so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while you relax.
The living area is open to the dining area with a table for four and the kitchen, stocked with pots and pans, dishes, serving utensils, and the all-important dishwasher for easy clean-up. If you are traveling with children, you'll find games, a pack-and-play, and a high chair available for your use.
The home has two comfortable bedrooms, thoughtfully furnished for flexible sleeping arrangements. The serene master suite has a queen bed and attached bath with a tub and his-and-her sinks. The second bedroom has a full bed and bunk beds; with a second full bath, up to five guests can share the space very comfortably.
A washer/dryer and wireless Internet access make the condo perfect for longer stays and working vacations. The condo even welcomes one well-behaved dog for a $10 nightly fee (there is a $40 minimum), so you can bring the whole family on your Squaw Valley getaway!
Of course, Tahoe is paradise in the winter for visitors who love the great outdoors. The lifts at Squaw Valley are just across the street, or hop on the free shuttle to visit Alpine Meadows. In the summer, there's even more activities to choose from: hiking past seasonal waterfalls, cycling along the paved bike path through Tahoe City, or kayaking on the lake. There's a championship 18-hole golf course at Squaw Creek, and world-class spas right in Olympic Valley, and the arial tram will whisk you up to High Camp with its swimming lagoon, hot tub, and poolside bars.
Whatever the season, you will feel right at home here in your own private Squaw Valley getaway!

My husband and I brought our teenage daughters for their first trip to Squaw to ski and snowboard. They both fell in love with the Valley. The condo is perfectly placed. The view of KT22 is beautiful. The amenities met all our needs. The only thing we would change would be the mattresses, but we would not let that stop us from staying here again. We are looking forward to our next trip.
We liked staying at this condo during our recent ski vacation. It is very conveniently located. The kitchen was well stocked with hot cocoa and spices and everything we needed to go with the basic groceries we brought. We loved that we were able to bring our medium sized dog. We loved eating at Graham's Restaurant, just below the condo. It was quiet and comfortable inside, good wifi connection.
A few notes to be aware of:
1) If you have a dog, you will have to go up and down three flights of stairs to get outside. Our dog likes to go out a lot, so this was kind of a haul for us. Also kind of tiring at the end of a day of skiing to climb those stairs. Also, there is not really anyplace to take a dog, no grassy areas nearby. You have to go across the highway to the meadow. Not really a big deal, we were glad to even be able to bring our dog, but next time I will look for a ground floor unit with an open area nearby just to save myself the climbing up and down stairs and then going across the highway every time I took the dog out.
2) The master bedroom had plenty of covers, the double bed in the second bedroom was adequate, but the bunk beds didn't have more than a sheet and very thin coverlet, and my kid who slept in the lower bunk was freezing cold at night. We couldn't find extra blankets or covers anywhere in the unit.
3) You can only burn Duraflame logs in the fireplace, not real logs. Not a big deal, but I was hoping for a nice fire at night, not a puny Duraflame fire.
Apart from those minor inconveniences, we really enjoyed the condo and had a very enjoyable stay. There are tons of books to read and the kitchen was well stocked with add-ons like cocoa and tea, sugar, spices, oil, etc. Thank you!
A nice place. Clean, quiet. Furniture is typical for a ski condo.
Fun family stay in Squaw Valley
We rented this condo for 3 nights, Sunday-Wednesday. It was the perfect size for my family of five. We have three girls so the 2nd bedroom with the bunk bed and twin worked well. Plenty of comfy seating in the bright and open living area for staring at the mountain views or watching a DVD. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils and an older model dishwasher which worked just fine. The condo is in a great location, just a short walk to the Squaw Valley Resort Village, for shopping and dining out. It is also only about 15-20 minutes into Tahoe City/Sunnyside as well. The only draw back was that it does not have AC and they only provide one fan, so be aware of that if you are planning to stay in the warmer months like we did. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and responsive and the place is great. We would definitely stay here again and would also recommend it to our friends.
We have a very pleasant stay in this condo. It was comfortable clean and very close to the skiing resort. The company was very flexible and offer us an ealier check in and late check out for a small fee. We will be coming again and looking forward to stay in this condo.
