This two bedroom, two bath retreat is a perfect choice for those seeking a comfortable place to call home on the Central Oregon Coast. It's a million dollar view in the sleepy, uncrowded beach community of Waldport, but with no need to break the bank! Start each morning with a walk with your morning coffee and the dog to an expanse of sand and water.
Access is easy for everyone, as this cute house is all on one level and has no stairs to climb at the entrance. The cozy living room features tall, slanted ceilings, a bright, paneled accent wall, comfortable furniture for lounging about and relaxing, and a pellet stove for those occasional chilly coast nights. The sofa is the perfect place to hang out, read a book, and enjoy the fire. Or maybe just spread out on the floor for a family night with board games and puzzles!
The large, full kitchen and its appliances, tools, and gadgets are ready for your meal preparation. The extra roomy refrigerator with pull-out drawer freezer will easily store all your groceries and supplies for delicious feasts. Whip up blueberry pancakes for a lazy morning brunch, soup and sandwiches for lunch, or fish tacos for dinner. And if you don't feel like cooking (it is your vacation, after all), enjoy the dining options in Waldport, Yachats (nearby) and Newport to the north where you will find unique brewpubs, fine dining seafood restaurants, and everything in between!
Off the kitchen, the dining room has table seating for six and has a door outside to the amazing open deck. With a teak patio table and four chairs, this may just end up being your favorite space for meals or just unwinding any time of day. In the mornings, head out to the deck with a cup of coffee and watch the surf. In the evenings, the same spot provides a relaxing, panoramic view for a pre-dinner glass of wine.
This house combines the old-fashion with the new touches and a taste of Zen. It has two bedrooms, each decorated simply and with soothing, pleasing colors. Stop in at the north end of town at Carol's Cafe for a home cooked, hearty breakfast and then spend some time by the Alsea Bay Boat Docks, watching the crabbers or maybe even trying your luck at catching dinner. A great nearby destination for exploring tide pools during low tide is Seal Rock, about six and a half miles north. Look for a ledge of rocks covered with thick green seaweed. This protected cove is home to a large collection of colorful marine animals like sea anemone, starfish, and sculpin.

The location is great, close to everything. The view is very nice and the home has everything you need.
This house was fitted with all the necessary supplies and appliances to be comfortable yet still unpretentious. Bed in master bedroom was outstanding in comfort. Breath taking sunsets, although a little bit away from the beach, still beautiful.
The good news is that the place was very clean! The bad news was that it was in poor condition and sparsely furnished. No kitchen table, no coffee table, no dressers or shelves in the bedrooms for our clothes, not enough seating for 6 in the living room, kitchen equipment not enough to cook a 'real' meal. We brought camp chairs and used them. There were nails left in the walls where the previous owner must have hung pictures, and on and on. The deck was small but great and the neighbors very nice and chatted with us when we walked the small dogs. We loved having a garage to stage our golf clubs etc.
