We have been coming to San Francisco for our vacations for the last 18 years. We love the vibe of this city. We love San Francisco for great food, music, arts, and technology with respect for all. Our neighborhood has great coffee shops, chocolatiers, wine and cheese places, Japanese, Mexican, Salvadorian, Peruvian, Indian, South Indian, Vietnamese, Fusion, Italian, Ethiopian and many culinary restaurants from around the world within few blocks. We are foodies and so we love it here. Of course for some great beers, Monk's Kettle is the best. For a sports bar, go to Giordinos. For icecream, famous BiRitte Creamery and try their honey lavender or salted caramel flavor. For a nice afternoon walk, Dolores Park is perfect. For great coffee, go to Four Barrel or Phil's. For the best croissant or dessert, Tartines - which always has a line.
There is rarely ever fog in our neighborhood. It is always 7-10 degrees warmer than other parts of the city. It is super convenient for travel, food and fun. The area has all flat streets, rare for San Francisco. Close to public transit, new parks, restaurants of famous Valencia street.
the apartment is very roomy and comfortable. It is a good location, close to bus route and BART.
Owners are very nice and accommodating, but the place needs a bit of work on electrical outlets and small comfort details.
What a wonderful time my friends and I had for the weekend! This house was lovely, well maintained with fresh flowers as we walked through the front door and 3 spacious bedrooms for all of us to spread out in. The Kitchen was large and spacious and very clean. Alex and Nehal were so sweet, offering us any assistance we could need and ensuring us that we were allowed to have a good time and not worry to much about noise or other things. We stayed 4 nights and had such a lovely time! Nehal even tried to stop by one morning with croissants! The only downside is the older model layout that leaves you with only one bathroom. They split it though, separate toilet and tub, which makes things easier, and they show you that in the pictures before hand, so you know what you're getting into. On top of all that the location is impeccable! The place is close to Dolores Park and Bi-Rite, a hip smaller cuter version of a Whole Foods! If you can get this place, do!
stayed with my two kids and a friend. the house is so cozy and comfortable with lots of space and light. I thought the photos didn't do it justice. the location is phenomenal. great walking area. amazing restaurants, amazing park with amazing playground. the owners are so easy going and calm and wonderful to deal with. I will definitely be coming back! highly recommend this place to anyone!!
Our stay here couldn't have been better, we were warmly welcomed from the very beginning. Firstly, the location couldn't get any better... being just a stones throw away from the vibrant valencia street, dolores park, the famous bi-rite and more was fantastic. The apartment itself was spacious, very homely, clean with great character. It had everything we needed to make our stay perfect from extra towels and bed linens down to the very latest issue of the economist magazine and a tub of ice-cream in the freezer! If there were any issues they were fixed immediately by our friendly landlords. It was a pleasure to stay here and we miss the apartment very much!
Last month I had a young family arrive in SF for a home search. Mom & Dad needed room for their nanny and two young children. Guerrero provided an immediate home away from home for my clients. They loved having their own rooms, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room and living room. When I wasn't showing them homes they had the mission district at their feet to explore. The kids could not stop talking about Dolores Park, only two blocks from the front door, and the BiRite ice cream they enjoyed one sunny afternoon. Mom & Dad said that they took the opportunity to enjoy a few date nights out at neighborhood restaurants. The nanny commented that her time in the neighborhood far exceeded her expectations. I choose Guerrero for it's central location and ease for which my clients could navigate the city without needing a car. My clients experience made a stressful home search process much easier and gave them an exciting first stay in San Francisco.
I am a San Francisco Realtor who had out of state buyers who did not want to stay in a hotel. My decision to house them @ Guerrero was a home run.
Tennis courts, Swimming Pool and basket ball courts are only one block away.
