Perfect Home for a Couple to Experience Toronto
I've been visiting Toronto for 20 years and I'm quite familiar with the city. I've always stayed in B&Bs in the past, but have not had the best of luck recently. My wife and I decided to try renting a condo this year as an alternative to to a B&B or hotel.
We selected this property based on the size and style of accommodations, and its location.
The building's door is just steps from the Wellesley subway station, a wonderful asset for those going without a car. Public transportation in Toronto is very convenient, and being next door to the stop was wonderful, especially when the weather is not fully cooperating.
The building has a security guard at the front door, and though I don't feel like it's necessary, safety conscious people will appreciate it. The unit is located on second floor, which is great for us because we prefer taking the stairs.
The unit itself was perfect for our needs. The queen sized bed is very comfortable, complete with a down comforter, dresser, nightstands, reading lamps, and a good sized closet. The bathroom has a large shower, though no bath tub, which was fine for us. The kitchen is stocked with the standard set of dishes, pots, pans, a coffee maker, and food staples like salt, pepper, sugar, sweetener, etc. It's nicely finished with granite counters (or at least that's what they looked like), double sink, electric stove, and dish washer. We bought groceries on our first day and made breakfast throughout the week.
The kitchen is part of a great room, which includes a large flat screen TV with a satellite box above a gas fireplace, sofa, and stylish coffee table.
The deck outside is amazing. I'm not sure of the dimensions, but it's bigger than we had imagined, and includes a love seat, chairs and a table. Overlooking Yonge & Wellesley, It was a great place to unwind at night with a glass of wine.
Lastly, there is free wifi access, the password for which is provided on the informational sheet located in the room.
We loved our stay here and this will be our first choice for our next visit!
