First floor studio, modern design, fully equipped, Kitchen TV, WIFI, Microwave, a double bed( 180x200)
We stayed in Sebatiaan's apartment for 5 nights. This is a wonderful property. The location is central and close to restaurants, attractions, and the canals; but in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk all over the city from there. The apartment is roomy with tasteful furnishing. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked most breakfasts and dinners there, and the bedroom is a separate room. The balcony is lovely with the garden view. Sebastiaan was a charming host who was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this apartment and we will stay there again if we return to Amsterdam.
I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights in September 2014 and we absolutely loved it! Cheaper than most of the hotels we looked at for our dates and with the conveniences of a fridge, toaster, cooker etc... The apartment was very clean and comfortable and has everything you would need for any length of stay in Amsterdam. It is located in a very quiet peaceful area but still very central with all the major tourist attractions well within walking distance. Sebastiaan was a great host, giving us advice on nearby shops and attractions, very cool friendly guy. I would highly recommend this apartment and it will be our first choice if and when we come back to Amsterdam!
We had another great stay in Amsterdam and a first stay at Sebastiaan's Jordaan apartment. The location is perfect for walking to the sites in the city center and in 5 minutes you are at one of many street car stops to travel outside of the city.
We are thinking of moving to Amsterdam, so living in a typical Amsterdam city apartment was beneficial. The apartment is compact, but the two of us did not feel cramped. The balcony is lovely and perfect to rest your feet while enjoying a cold beverage.
The apartment is tastefully decorated, so you'll have a second home type of feeling.
The bed was comfortable and there were places to store our luggage/purchases as well as hang our clothes.
The bathroom has no tub, but a shower, toilet, and storage area above the toilet. The kitchen has all that you need to make meals and cook if you like, but with so many great restaurants in Amsterdam, we ate out quite often. There is even a washing machine, but we had no need to use it.
Sebastiaan is a very kind host and walked us through the apartment to explain everything. He also has documented "must see" sights such as the Bio-market and local restaurants such as La Festa Italian (they make a great pizza and the owner is very accommodating).
We had a wonderful long weekend and shall surely return!
Sebastiaan's studio is the best base to explore the city: it's close to everything (we never used public transportation during our 5 day trip), yet it's in a very quiet street just off of a bigger one leading straight to Dam Square. The area is very nice, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and a pancake house. :)
The studio itself is full of light, modern and spotlessly clean. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully equipped - except for the blow dryer, ladies bring your own! - and the terrace makes for a great setting for dinners/breakfast outside.
Sebastiaan was a great host: very kind and always available during the stay should we ever have any issues or questions. That was greatly appreciated!
So, I would totally recommend this flat to any couple who is seeking a quiet and great looking apartment. Sebastiaan, thanks for making us feel at home, and see you the next time we're in town!

This is a great little apartment in a central location. All sights are walking distance and the apartment itself is clean, quaint and safe.
Sebastiaan was accommodating and gave simple, easy to follow instructions to finding the apartment. He greeted me there and shared with me the ins and outs of the apartment, as well as some tips with the sights.
I was here on my own, but I would highly recommend it for two people. It really is a lovely spot!
Enjoyed our stay at this delightful cozy apartment. Welcomed by Sebastiaan, our very friendly, helpful, & accommodating landlord with a bottle of wine & food snacks. It is a wonderful neighbourhood for walking along the canals all around the area. Nice clean apartment, though bathroom was small, with comfortable outdoor porch with flowers, which was a bright & airy spot for breakfasts. A little noisy with outside noise for sleeping on Friday & Saturday nights. The washing machine in the apartment was really helpful, and it was well stocked with soap, towels, food items, etc. There were fine restaurants in the area as well. Overall, we had a fun & happy experience staying in this Jordaan apartment for the week in this special city.
Located within the 'grachtengordel', the cities center canal-ring, as well as Amsterdam's chic shopping district,'The Nine Streets' ( De Negen Straatjes).
Amsterdam's main tourist attractions such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum, Stedelijk museum, the Hermitage, the Anne Frank House and the Flower Market are all within walking distance along with the city's top restaurants, prominent art galleries, and entertainment.
