Stylish flat in Georgian house

You enter through the garden patio, to a fully equipped kitchen diner with plenty of space to eat ,inside or out, with a pretty garden outlook. Adjacent is the bedroom/ lounge, comfortably sleeping up to 3 persons.( double sofa bed and a single muji bed.There is TV and Internet access. There is a tastefully tiled shower room, toilet and washing area.Also a separate,shared laundry room.

I live on a quiet residential road with on street parking, free at weekends, resident vouchers for weekdays.

There is plenty of tourist information and books of interest in the flat and I am always happy to share my intimate knowledge of the area with you.

Towels, bedding,duvets, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, electric kettle, cutlery, crockery, coffee maker,cooking utensils are all supplied.

The flat is warm and cosy but light and airy for all year round comfort.

My first year with Holiday Rentals: My flat has proved to be very popular for- Tourists to enjoy all the London attractions without paying central London prices,- Artists,designers,actors, students with short term work + business projects, - Families visiting relations or friends who live in this popular area who want comfortable and convenient accommodation, - Visitors who have enjoyed a London base and have explored other British delights, Stonehenge,Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, seaside resorts even Scotland.

My business policy: I strive to be as efficient and businesslike as possible but I have no ambition to build a money making property empire.

The flat is the only property I rent as it is the self contained lower ground floor of my home, a late Georgian semi with lots of original features and character. There is no special check in time and unless I have another immediate booking you can pack and leave at your leisure on your departure date.

Once I know your approximate arrival time I am here to greet you with the keys and show you the apartment.

The atmosphere is informal and friendly with advice and assistance always available

Tourists, students, actors, artists, and relations visiting local residents have all been very satisfied.

London calling

After looking around at Homeaway website after a small, affordable stay in an attractive area in London, I finally found this in Haggerston!
The flat is situated in an area that is very calm and quiet and it feels like a safe place to be!
I like to walk the streets of London and to discover areas that I am not familiar with. I have walked many times along The Regents Canal towards Islington and the Angel area, I have walked towards Shoreditch and Spitalfields and discovered the cosy market there and I have also walked to Oxford street and Covent garden, a walk that took approx. 1 1/2 hours. And very close to the flat, there is the lovely Broadway market!
I spent 9 days in june 2012 in the flat, and during those days a friend from Sweden came and visited me for 4 days, and we had a wonderful time, both in the flat and in the area around!
Just recently, I have visited London again! I had the opportunity to do some christmas shopping in the lovely city! And my first choice of where I was going to stay was Rosemarys flat in Haggerston! I spent 10 days in December 2012 and I had a wonderful time!
Now, back in Norway, I try to figure out how I can visit my lovely London again, and hopefully I will have the chance to spend future days in Haggerston!

Brownlow Road Flat

We stayed at this flat for 4 weeks and found it to be very convenient for getting to central London. The bus stop and train station are within a few minutes walk and there is a small supermarket close by. There is a nice park and some good pubs and restaurants also close by.
The flat is small but comfortable and we had everything we needed. The landlady was also very nice and helpful and we would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.
We hope to visit again soon!

Great experience staying in this multiethnic area

We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The description was accurate, the apartment clean and simple but it contained everything we needed. The area is quiet, it is an easy walk from the Overground station and it takes only 15-20 mins to get to Central London.
The apartment is very independent, it has a big kitchen, the furniture in the living room/bedroom is simple but adequate. The lovely landlady provides a warm welcome, tea and coffee and some more basics, lots of information about London and the area, good guides.
We enjoyed shopping in Ridley Road market and the area, cooking lots of ethnic food which we could never get at home. Broadway market and the nice shops and cafes there are also worth a visit or you can go for a walk in London Fields.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone, we extended our stay while we were there and definitely plan to go back.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Lovely quirky apartment , felt home from home

My partner and I and my friend had a wonderful two night stay. It was very quiet and peaceful , and wild garden was almost enchanting.
The apartment was very clean and tidy , and had everything we needed and more.
It was only a few minutes walk from the train station and we had plenty of room to park the cars out side the house.
It was great value for money I would defiantly go back again !!!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
