This apartment is stunning - a gorgeous combination of wonderful views over Vancouver and really luxurious accommodation. We stayed for nine days and, honestly, did not want to leave. This apartment is so lovely and the owners have thought of every small detail - plentiful soft white towels, toiletries, Keurig coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. etc. - nothing was missing - it's wonderful, really wonderful.
This condo is well equipted and spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds in a nice, safe, close-in location and views that go on forever!
We were traveling with another couple, and the four of us stayed in this condo--and loved it! It was exactly as listed. The building is new, security is excellent, good parking provided (except we had a car-top carrier which meant we couldn't fit in the garage--but that was our problem, not the owners, and we had no trouble finding on-street parking). The views from this top-floor, corner unit are spectacular, the furnishings new and beautiful, the kitchen exceptionally equipped. A good grocery store (and liquor store!) is close by. Our only issue was noise at night coming from the bar on the street next to the building. Since the unit was not air-conditioned and the weather was particularly warm when we were there, we often found it too warm to close the windows (though we did find they sound-proofed the apartment when they were closed). All in all, however, it was a wonderful unit--we would return again "in a heart-beat"!
This is a BEAUTIFUL modern apartment with fabulous views of downtown and the mountains. It was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The location was great....while not downtown there were express buses nearby and we could get around quickly using the car. There is a small shopping center nearby with a supermarket, drug store and liquor store. The neighborhood is full of cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place.
My husband and I stayed here while attending a workshop at UBC. The photos are accurate, what you see is what you get. We really enjoyed our stay here, the view was amazing, both during the day and at night. The apartment was pristine, gorgeous, small, just right for the two of us. Within walking distance are some great little restaurants; and the LED display from our penthouse was visible to us as we walked back from dinner, which was pretty cool. Sharon and Darrell were easy to work with and our deposit was speedily refunded, which was greatly appreciated. We plan to stay here whenever business brings us to Vancouver and have already recommended this lovely penthouse VRBO to friends and family. Thank you Darrell and Sharon for your gracious hospitality!!!
