PENTHOUSE APARTMENT

Had a wonderful stay in the one bedroom apartment. The apt had everything I needed for a comfortable stay ... fully equipped kitchen, iron, ironing board, etc. Everything I used was in good to excellent working order ... including good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. There were two space heaters which easily kept the apt comfortably heated.

The internet worked well and was never down once. The speeds seemed to be good (although I didnt actually measure the bps).

The location is awesome. It is a very short walk to Sainsburys (a large grocery store), Poundland (where you can get most of your toiletries for 1 pound each), as well as lots of fast food restaurants (if you're into that).

The tube is an estimated 5 minute walk away where you can pick up either the Picadilly or District lines. I estimate that the station (Hammersmith) is less than half an hour from Heathrow, so you actually save quite a few pounds by not having to taxi nor use the Heathrow Express. I estimate that the staion is also less than half an hour from central London (maybe more like 20 min?).

Mya was awesome. I only had a couple of trivial problems that she promptly took care of to my complete satisfaction. The skillet was unusable (she replaced it the same day with a brand new one), and a several light bulbs were blown (she directed me to the spares which she had on hand inside the apt).

The only cons I can think of is that there were no toiletries on arrival. It would have been nice to have at least hotel size soap and shampoo on arrival. There was also very little paper in the bathroom when I arrived. There are a couple of flights of steps to go up to get to the apt, but once my luggage was up, it wasnt any problem at all.

I consider the minor negative observations as very trivial, and I can give my highest recommendation to Mya's one bedroom apt at this location. I wouldn't hesitate to book any of her other properties as well based on my experience with this one.
