The Agostino apartment is a very bright and comfortable apartment located in the Ancient Roman Amphiteatre. View from the windows is very suggestive. The apartment has been recently restored and the result is a coloured, modern setting combined with our so traditional tiled floors and beamed ceilings. Everything you may need for a pleasant stay has been provided: all the necessary pots and pans for cooking, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, CD player, air conditioning, Wi-fi.

Composition: kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

And last but not least, a so central location offers immediate access to all the sites and sights of this historic and old city and puts all the culture, art, architecture, markets, shops and vibrant street life of Lucca on your doorstep. During Christmas time a typical, lightening and coloured open market is held in the square.

Wonderful location with a short walk to bus and train station. Easy trip by bus to Pisa and Florence! The apartment was fully equipped and very comfortable. Sonia quickly responded to any questions. I would highly recommend this property!

I visited Lucca for the first time and this was a fantastic base for our explorations! The apartment was amazing, and looks even better when you see it for real!It is spacious and comfortable and was very clean and well designed. It has everything that you would need for your stay, it was a real home from home, the breakfast basket was a lovely touch as was the weekly cleaning! It was perfect! What made it even better was the kindness of the owner mrs Sonia. She met us when we arrived and gave us advice on where to go and how to get there. This was invaluable! Sonia is a very kind and warm lady and does everything to make sure that your visit to Lucca is no less than perfect! I shall miss her!
This is the best choice of accomdation, to make a perfect hoilday!

Just a few lines to say what a great stay we had. Mrs Sonia gave us a very warm welcome even though were late arriving due to flight delays and finding the parking. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the free wi-fi was very speedy with an IPAD. The upstairs bed was comfortable and the aircon kept the bedroom nice and cool and with the shutters closed at night it was so quiet you forgot you were in the centre of a city! Although we ate out most nights we noticed the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. times As we had been to Tuscany a couple of times before and visited most of the major sites we decided not to venture to far and stay around Lucca for the week so being central the apartment was in a perfect location. We did drive to Viareggio which has a beautiful beach and plenty of places to eat.
In the amphitheatre there is a lovely deli on the left hand side as you look out of the window where you can get fresh bread, meat, cheeses and very nice filled foccacia sandwiches. If the weather is good stock up with picnic provisions and find a nice grassy spot on the walls surrounding the city. I would recommend Osteria San Giorgio found on Via San Giorgio and L’Oste Di Lucca found just off Via Fillungo for evening meals. Both Osterias only 5 minutes walk. All in all a great holiday and a perfect apartment.

Enjoyed the wonderful location in the Amfitheatro square in very central lucca. Convenient to parking, railway station and bus terminal, shops, restaurants, tourist sites. Warm hospitality, sense of history, charming view, comfortable bed beautiful equipped apartment. Perfect situation for a week stay in Lucca. Train and buses links to all destinations in a short trip.
